zach was sitting on a bench in the street. he was looking at his cell phone without knowing what to do.

actually, he knew what he wanted to do. he wanted to call his family and he wanted to tell them he was going home.

but he wasn't going to do that. not when his brother's words were still echoing in his head. he was scared of his own family.

his cell phone began to ring in his hands. a word appeared on the screen.

zach wanted to talk to everyone except him so he didn't hesitate to hang up the call.

but there was a problem.
he didn't know who to talk to, whenever he needed someone he used to go to talk to jack but in this case he didn't need jack.

he did not want to talk to jack.

someone gently touched his shoulder and gave a little cry. when zach raised his head, he found a girl with afro hair, probably her age and with a big smile.

zach smiled instantly. he didn't even have to force the smile. the fans sometimes managed to cheer him up in his bad days.

"oh my god, you're zach herron."

the girl put her hands to her mouth without being able to believe it yet.
"can i take a picture with you?"

"yeah, sure."

zach got up from the bench, approached the girl and kissed her on the cheek while the picture was taken.

the girl blushed after the gesture of zach. she was living her dream.

"i can not believe i've met you, all of you make me so happy, i could be sad, tried, exhausted, miserable and all i have to do to feel better is listening to your songs. you deserve the world, all of you. "

all of you.

even jack.

"thank you, seriously, we wouldn't have reached anything without your support."

the girl, named sophia, stayed with him talking for a while until she had to leave, even if she didn't want to.

the words she said, had made zach though about his life and about the band.

they were a group and had come as far as a group. it didn't matter what jack was doing to him. or if jack didn't want him there but there was something he could take away from zach.

the fans.

he wasn't going to ruin everything because jack was an idiot. nor was he going to set aside his friends.

that's why he called an uber and went home. he was going to be strong even if it was the hardest thing he had ever done. he wasn't going to leave everything for jack, he had to concentrate on his life, on being happy.

when he got home he saw christina sitting on the stairs, which surprised him. he didn't even know she was  here.
