Now, understand that the Shernwell’s are more than just financially stable. Almost every room in their house is big enough to have a 1000 inch TV and make it look small. That includes Julia’s room. The room is painted light red with two beds on opposite walls from each other. Each wall had one window, covered by a black torn curtain.

I knew Julia was into the whole goth thing, but, wow!

To my left was a huge plasma T.V. It was playing some heavy metal band singing a song that is apparently called, “ Call me Dead.”  It was interesting to see men with black, skinny, torn pants on.

“To bad Maky isn’t here,” Julia frowned. I turned to her.

“Who’s he?” She covered her mouth and started to snicker, but she quickly went back to normal.

“Maky’s my roommate,” she said easily.

“Is he your brother?” I asked. She smiled.

“You could say that,” she smiled. I didn’t get what she was saying, I was going to ask but someone knocked on the door.

“Come on in,” Julia yelled turning off the T.V.  A women with brunette curly hair came into the room, she had  dull silver eyes. She wore a light blue shirt with ruffled shoulders and boot cut jeans. She was smiling.

“Hi mom,” Julia smiled , “This is Nessia, from the T.V.” She walked over to me obviously happy.

“Hello Nessia, I’m Carol, I guess you can say I’m your mom,” She hugged me welcoming. I really didn’t know what to say besides…

                “Hi.” She turned to Julia.

“Is Maky still out?” Carol asked.

“Yeah, Nessia didn’t meet him yet,” she said seriously. I noticed that she emphasized the ‘him’. Carol looked confused but then nodded.

“Well he better get back soon, we do have Nessia here, we need to welcome her to the family,”  She  emphasized the ‘he’ too. I was confused, but I didn’t bring it up.

“Julia, how about you show Nessia the rest of the house?” There’s more?! I already saw 3 bedrooms, my private bathroom, Julia and Maky’s private bathroom, the living room, the kitchen, and the dinning room for the guests; and there’s more?!

“Yeah, sure mom,” Julia said fiddling with her dog tags.

“Well,  Nessia I hope you enjoy it here,” She smiled while stepping cautiously backwards to avoid the boots at the door. She finally left after a continuous sea of smiles and waves.

I’ll sum up the rest of the house in two words: Holy Shit!

I found out that in my gigantic closet was some staircase leading into a plain white room with a ton of shelves, containers, and cabinets. Julia and Maky have the same thing in their rooms.  Now, I had no idea what they were for, but it looked like a storing room of some sorts.

The last place Julia showed me was of mix of  amazing and awesome, Amasome! It was the basement, right across from the dinning room.  As soon as you open the door a million tons of coolness hits you in the face. As you’re going down the stairs, the smells fill your senses. Perfectly aged  wine, vacuumed carpet, and candles, but when  you make it down the stairs is where you hit the promise land. Bar, Pool table, minigolf, disco ball, biggest TV I have ever seen, ping pong, air hockey, poker table, dance floor (me taking a huge breath)and so much more!
