-Account of Haru Kanzaki-

Part II

I arrived home, feeling happy and satisfied.

I went up to my room and sat on the bedside.

I made a promise to her.

That I'll let her see that portrait.

Maybe, I'll also confess to her at that time.

I think that will be the best moment to do so.

I started painting the portrait.

Little by little, I could see how the picture was becoming: beautiful.

It felt more alive as I continued working on it that night.

I finished the portrait without delay.

I was amazed at how fast I painted it.

I guess this is what inspiration does to people who are in love.

I decided to call it a night after cleaning myself up.

That morning, I woke up, feeling refreshed.

I wonder if I should tell Hisashi about what happened last night?

I prepared myself and went for school.

As usual, Hisashi and I meet in front of the station.

"Morning." Hisashi said as we did a high five.

We boarded the train, it was still early so we had the chance to take seats.

"I met her last night again."

"Don't fool around, Haru." Hisashi said in disbelief.

"I'm serious."

"Yeah, in your dreams."

"Seriously, I did meet her when I bought some art supplies."

"Art supplies? Are you painting again?" Hisashi asked as he looked at me sternly.

"Y-yeah. Then... I promised her that I'll let her look at it when its done."

"Hm... fine, I'll believe you. Still, it's been a while since I've seen you paint. What are you painting?"

"Her."

Hisashi then coughed out as if he was trying to ridicule me.

"Hey, I'm serious about it." I replied glaring at him.

"Sorry, its just that when you're drawing people, it sucks real bad." he replied laughing a bit.

"I'm improving and I'll show that to you when I finish that portrait."

The train soon stopped at our station and we dropped out of the train.

Walking towards the school gates, I meet her again.

"Good morning, Haru."

It was Katsuri, greeting me and beaming a bright smile towards me.

"G-good morning, Katsuri-senpai..."

That morning greeting sure made my day.

"Ehh.. seems you've been telling the truth." Hisashi said in awe.

"Like I've told you before, what will I get if I lied to you?" I replied sighing lightly.

Entering the main building, we went to the shoelockers.

As I opened my locker, I was surprised to see a letter.

I picked it up, looking who had put it there.
