Chapter 6

Julia's P.O.V

"Lilian?" Aj and I say at the same time

"What are..." I didn't get to finish my sentence because Lilian cut me off.

"Run! The zombies are heading this way!" she exclaims. Lilian and I start to take off towards the exit but AJ didn't, she ran towards the stairs.

"What are you doing?" Lilian screamed in a worried voice to Aj.

"I'm going to get Diane and Sierra. I am not leaving them behind!" she yells to us as she runs up the stairs quickly.

"Well we can't just leave Aj." Lilian says and runs after Aj in a flash as I slowly made my way up the stairs.

'This going to be a disaster now that Lilian is here because Aj has had a huge crush on Lilian for two years. I think Lilian might like her too, which means Diane and Sierra are not going to be happy when they see her. Well more Sierra because she knows about Aj's crush on Lilian.' I think in my head.

I reached the second floor in the same amount of time they did seeing as running up the stairs will just make them slower because they tire themselves out.

"Where are you guys?" A.j asked Diane and Sierra through the walkie-talkie

A moment later, "We are heading towards the cafeteria area", we heard Diane say through the walkie-talkie.

Luckily, we were right near the cafeteria so all we had to do is wait for them to show up.

"Ok, so was there anyone else with you Lilian?" I asked her sitting down in the chair near the stairs

"No there wasn't" she says to Aj and I

"Not even Ben, you know your boyfriend?" Aj asked her with jealousy

Seriously she has a girlfriend now she needs to stop like now. Ugh.

"Nope....he wasn't fast enough to get away." Sierra says like it's no big deal

"I knew she didn't love him" Aj whispers under her breath so no one can hear, or she meant for no one to hear it, I did.

"AJ, you have a girlfriend now, you need to stop thinking about her like that..." I whispered to Aj and she looked at me with pure guilt.

I know she doesn't mean to have feelings for Lilian still, now that she has Diane...

AJ's P.O.V.

" AJ, you have a girlfriend now, you need to stop thinking about her like that..." Julia whispered to me

I felt guilty because she was right. I really shouldn't be thinking of Lilian when I have Diane. I know it's not right.

"Aj" I heard as Diane comes running towards me from behind the wall.

"Well hi to you too." I say to her and kissed her soft, pink lips...they tasted different this time around though.

"Hi babe. I missed you." she says to me as we pull away from each other

"Where's Sierra ?" I asked her worried

"I don't know" she says montone to me, panic starts to ensue in me.

"I'm right here. And where did you go Diane? I have been looking for you for the past 15 minutes" Sierra says to Diane angrily as she approaches us

"Oh thank gosh you are alright." I say, hugging Sierra.

"You still care about me?" Sierra say to me with a smile on her face as I let go of her.

"Yes, what gave you the idea that I didn't?" I asked her.

"Nothing" she says to me but I know it's not nothing. I won't say anything though cause I know we have to go fast.

"Ok then guys we have to head out Lilian here was just running away from zombies" I say to Sierra and Diane

"Wait Lilian?! Like Lilian from your humanities Lilian?" Sierra questioned

"Yep" I say to her nervously rubbing the back of my neck.

All Sierra said was "Ok".

"Guys let's go" Juila says to us in a rush.

With that said, I grabbed Diane's hand which felt colder than usual. I decided to shrug it off and start running to find an exit.

As we head down back stairs to the exit, we had stop because the Zombies were closer now.

A zombie started to come close to us so Julia and I hurried to pull out our guns.

"Go! Go!" Julia and I yell to Sierra, Lilian, and Diane as we shot the five zombies heading for us.

The girls ran off fast while we stayed put, putting all the zombies back into their rightful places as fully dead humans.

"Ok let's get out of here." I say to Julia after she shot the last living dead in the brain.

"Ok" she says and we headed out.

When we got out side we saw Jasper, Lawson and Carter plus Lauren who decided to tag along with them instead of us. They all stood there with Sierra, Lilian, and Diane.

"Hey have you notice Diane has been acting weird since we found them?" Julia whispered to me.

"No" I say back to her as we approached all of them "Ok guys it's getting dark we should head back ' home'." I told them and everyone nodded their heads in agreement.

3 minutes later

As we walked into the apartment, we could hear a strange noise...

"Arr.."

And when we saw who made the noise, we all froze...
