chapter 7

Aj's P.O.V

I pull my gun out; Johnny stood there and he was now a living dead.

My hands were shaking furiously, I didn't  know if I could shoot one of my best friends. Even if he does currently want to eat my brain.

"Give me the gun Aj." Julia demanded, knowing I couldn't bring myself to shoot Johnny.

I slowly handed Julia the gun and she quickly grabbed it from my hand. In a split second, she had shot Johnny in the head and he fell to the ground fully dead.

"Well that happened." Diane said with a nonchalant face.

A hiccup of a sob came from next to me. "I can't believe it. Johnny is gone. Our parents are going to kill me, if they're not already dead too." Lauren says with hot and heavy tears falling down her cheeks.

Well I don't blame her. If it was my brother, I'd be bawling my eyes out too.

"I'm here for you babe. Don't worry." Lawson says and everyone but me looks at them in shock when he said 'babe.'

"Why are you looking at them like that?" I question everyone.

"Lawson just called Lauren, babe." Sierra explained to me.

"Yeah. They've been dating since this whole thing started." I say to them and all of them look at me with wide eyes.

"You knew?!" Carter exclaimed.

"Yeah. I thought you all knew." I say to them.

"No we didn't." Jasper, Carter, and Sierra all say at the same time.

"Guys! We have a bigger issue at hand! We have to find a new place to take shelter or we might all get infected." Julia says with a serious tone, making everyone stop their conversation about Lauren and Lawson's relationship.

"Julia's right start gathering the stuff together so we can get out of here" I shouted then felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to met those eyes I always get lose in somehow

"Can we talk?" Lilian asked me and I nodded my head

"Yeah, but I got to tell Diane first she gets jealous easily" I say to her and go find Diane

"Baby I'm going to talk with Lilian alone is that okay?" I asked her

"Yeah. Why wouldn't be okay?"She told me confused

"Because you get jealo-" I was cut off

"Aj back away from her now if she even is a she or her" Julia whispered in my ear and I did as I was told

"That isn't Diane Aj" Lilian and Julia said at the same time

"T-then who who is she?" I stuttered out

"Oh fuck it you guys caught me. I'm an alien I copied your friends looks so I could kill you all later but looks like you guys are smart" the fake Diane said to us and took the gun from Julia that she had tookin from me earlier

I shot the alien "you fucking alien took the women I was dating away from me " I was gonna shot it again when an arm went around my waist and when I turned around my eyes started to tear up and I cried into her shoulder...
