Alana Jackson P.O.V

One month later...

We finally had found a new shelter after two days  at a abandoned complex but sadly before we could get there we lost Lawson and Lauren, because of this Carson and I decided that whenever we go out everyone is to stay together.

Anyways right now I was sitting at the desk on the computer that was in Lillian's and My room that we picked.

I read through news articles trying to figure out how the hell this thing started.

As I read through one article that was sent out moments before everything went hay, it was talking about a radioactive explosion caused by an unknown subject I'm guessing it was the Aliens because of the one that kil-

"Hey what are you up too" I heard from behind me and two arms wrapped around my neck from behind me

I turned around from the computer and pecked Lillian's lips while smiling a little

"I was just seeing what caused this hole mess we are in" I tell her after I pull away

"Well did you find out" She asked me intertwining are fingers

"Yes I did it was actually a radioactive blast from a government lab caused from an unknown subject most likely the aliens that we have now discovered are here on earth now. " I told her all I have found out

"Do you think the radioactive blast could have effected us" She asked me with her head tilted

"I don't think so because we would have turned into a zombie like the others" I said to her and she started to stare of into space

"I think it may have though we weren't close to the blast so we didn't consume a lot which explains why nothing happened to us but we still close enough to get some radioactive in are body" She said after a while of thinking

Did I mention she was a science nerd...

"We shall never know" I said and pecked her lips "anyways wanna go on a date with me? " I asked her smiling shyly

"Um... AJ in case you didn't know we can't exa-" I cut her off with a kiss

"We aren't leaving the building don't worry" I say after pulling away from her lips

"Then where are we gonna go? " She questioned me

"You'll just have to wait and see" I say standing up and holding my hand out with smirk in my face

"Wait?! Right now?! " She asked me and I nodded my head

"Yep let's go" I say and she took my hand and I lead her down the hallways to a room that nobody but Carson and I know about

I grabbed the key in my pocket and opened the door to reveal the table with cloth and two plates of food that I had set up a couple of minutes ago

"Wow... This-this is all for me" She said looking at the table to me

"Yep it is" I said to her shyly

"Thank you! Thank you!  Thank you! " She said and pulled me into a hug before pecking my lips then I led her to her chair and pulled it out for her

"Anything for you gorgeous" I said to her smiling widely after sitting down in my own chair

"Mmm..." She said as she took a bite of the food I had made "this is so good"

"I'm glad you like it I made it myself" I said to her shyly

"Really? You have to start making breakfast and dinner more often then cause no offense to Carson but he isn't the best at cooking" She said to me and I chuckled
