Chapter 12

Sierra's P.O.V

I sat in Carter and I's room writing in my diary about how this whole adventure is going.

"Hey Sierra. You busy?" I heard from my doorway and looked up to see Carter look at me with hopeful eyes

"No I'm not. What's up? " I say placing the diary on the dresser next to the bed

"Well I was wondering if you'd like to come with me to look at the view upstairs on the roof" He says rubbing the back of his neck

"Yeah sure let's go" I say standing up from the bed and walking over to him

He grabbed my hand and intertwined are fingers to guide me to upstairs

When we reached the roof my jaw dropped at the view in front of me. There was a table with vanilla white cloth covering it, two bottles of my favorite soda and pasta on two plastic plates and a flower in the middle of the table.

"I-is this all for me?" I stuttered out and looked at Carter

"Yes it is. Do you like it? " He asked nervously

"I don't like it. I love it. No one has ever done this for me " I say and pull him into a hug before pecking his lips

"Im glad you like it" He said while blushing a little and I blushed as well

He hurried pulled out the chair for me and I thanked him and sat down then he sat across from me

"How did you know this was my favorite drink and food?" I asked him curiously

"Well... Um I kinda asked Aj" He said to me shyly

"Aww... That was sweet of you" I said smiling widely

"Thank you" He said blushing "d-do you like the pasta? " He asked me after had taken a bite of the pasta which by the way was like a burst of flavors in my mouth

"Yeah it tastes amazing" I said and took another bite "..Mmm you are gonna have to make this for me more often" I moaned out then blushed like a tomato

"I didn't realize I was that good of a cook.  Thank you" He said smiling widely at me suddenly be coming more confident

After a while of making jokes and talking about everything that happened so far we finally finished dinner.

But apparently the night wasn't over yet...

"May I have this dance my lady" Carter said after puting thinking out loud by Ed Sheeran on and standing in front me with his hand held out in front of me

"Yes you may my kind sir" I said and placed my hand in his and he placed his hand on my waist

When your legs don't work like they used to before

We both stared into each other eyes with a knowing smile in our faces
