Chapter 6 - The Run

Izuku POV :)

After the delicious feast my mom made for me, I then went upstairs to find out all about the new quirk that I have acquired - one for all. I remember that All Might said it will take a few hours before I digest the hair and make the quirk my own.

I decided to study and revise topics that I learnt, when I was done it was half nine. The quirk won't be mine till approximately 11pm. Not wanting yo wait that long, I went to sleep. My eyelids felt much more heavier than I remember and soon I fell fast asleep.
Once I woke up, it was 6 in the morning. It was a habit to wake up early because of my training schedule. I then went on to do my 200 sit ups, push ups and squats. It was 7:30 am once I was done, ill just do the 20km run in the afternoon. I thought.

I brushed my teeth, showered, ate breakfast, packed my stuff and set off to the strain station, not before giving my mom a kiss on the cheek. I looked around the train compartment and was surprised to see Uraraka sitting on her own, her eyelids drooping.

I went over and sat next to her, she faced me and suddenly she lost the tired look and looked very happy

I had 20 minutes til homeroom starts. I then channeled one for all, and punched a metal dummy. It got obliterated but at a price. My right arm was swollen purple and I realized that I had broken my arm by the wave of pain that came afterwards. I then quickly reversed time on my arm, it then went back to its normal white.

The pain stopped, I then had a breather and thought about how I could use my power in contrast with my time quirk. I could use the gush of wind to push back enemies.

I could reverse time on my arm every time I used one for all, or slow down time and use one for all to amplify the effect by 10 times. I brainstormed so many ideas that when I checked the time, I realized it was one second before homeroom class.

I froze time and made my way to class 1A. I unfroze time and walked in just as Aizawa said to everyone to sit down. I walked to my seat while giving Uraraka a thumbs up. She looked the other way so I couldn't see her expression. I was brought out of my thoughts by Aizawa's talking.

"As most of you know UA holds an annual sports festival every year for students to show off their quirks and abilities. You will have the next 3 weeks to train for the sports festival. Our training grounds are open from 7am to 10pm for any students who would like any extra lessons or have no where else to train. "He looked at Bakugou and Toderoki. "I would also highly recommend students with destructive quirks to train there, there will be a different section for them. Class dismissed. "

Everyone around me were chatting about how the previous UA festivals were so cool and that it was an honour to participate. When the class opened the door, there was the whole of class 1B, leading them was a kid with messy purple hair and tired, bloodshot eyes.

"Hi, I'm Shinsou from class 1B and I want to make an announcement. The sports festival is a chance for us lower classes to get moved up. Of course there would mean that some of you have to get dropped in order for us to move in. "He said, others behind him laughed.

Just then, Bakugou came and told them to move. As I predicted from their big egos, they didn't budge until Bakugou made a large explosion towards the crowd causing them minor burns. After seeing such a ruthless and powerful student, they decided to back off. This made way for class 1A to get out.

Once I got home, I noticed that the festival is pretty big so I bumped up my training and studied any combat combos with my quirks. This carried on for 3 weeks.
