'What is this? I feel warm yet cold? It feels like I'm going against a current, a strong one but I am making progress. Wait, what was I doing again?'

Izuku was going against the flow of time, like a man trying to swim against a strong river. Usually this is is impossible, yet there was a mysterious force behind Deku. Propelling him forward. His mind was in a hazy state, a border between consciousness and unconsciousness. however, this illusion was broken by a gradual pressure or some kind of pain going up from his gut to his mind. This feeling was unpleasant and Izuku tried to stop this. Flailing and screaming and shouting. Yet, nothing came out his mouth nor his body responded. It was as if he was being filled up with a burning hot liquid.

Eventually, it reached his mind. Suddenly, everything stopped. His vision came back albeit blurry but he could make out a person in front of him...

"Deku? are you even listening to me? It was your idea to have our first date in this coffee shop you know, and now you are spacing out if you are bored." the person complained. Izuku could eventually make out a familiar face of a bubbly girl, her eyebrows furrowed and her face was angry but the impression she gave us was a cute girl pouting.

"Date? huh?" Deku asked, his head hurting and his memories hurting. He also realised he couldn't move his left arm. " I already have a girl I like and she's Toga..." He started to trail off and faint memories of Toga's plan for him came back - but was interrupted by a slap by Ochako. Her face was actually furious.

"If you already had a girl you like why did you accept my confession" she cried, now the whole coffee shop was looking at us - some having faces of disgust and some covering their mouths. To hide their laughter or shock, god knows. Uraraka stomped out the shop, her tears streaming down her face. He was going to go after her and explain himself when a guy stopped him.

"Hey man, I know what you're going through - being a player is tough y'know? Just let her go, man,  hehe, just go after another one but I gotta tell ya she was kinda cute..." he said in a comforting way. Izuku tried to explain but out of the corner of his eye, he saw a villain coming out a bank with a bunch of money and policeman after him.

"Calling backup, if there are any heroes out there - that man is a robber and he must be stopped. His quirk is something like an object teleportation quirk?"

The dude next Deku watched with wide eyes: " wow, a robbery right next to us eh? That's kinda m-" He wasn't able to finish his sentence when Izuku ran out and started to chase the villain. He clenched his fist and tried to slow down time. It didn't work. However times he tried to activate his quirk, this didn't stop him from trying to stop the villain. He has learned to not overly depend on his quirk and if the villain's quirk is just object teleportation then it shouldn't be difficult to take him down.

After a few minutes of running after him, he spotted the guy in an alleyway catching his breath and on the phone to someone.

"Alright lee street, alright I'll be there," he said as he hung up, but not without him noticing Izuku. Izuku, knowing he was spotted, ran in and went for a kick to the side of his abdomen. As he was about to extend his leg into his body, the villain muttered something.

"shambles" he whispered and suddenly he had a knife in his hand and blood spurted from my attacking leg. However, he didn't give up. He spun around and kicked with his other head - instead of aiming for his head. This surprised the villain but he tried to activate his quirk. Instead, he got a kick to the face which sent him hurling. His slammed down onto the floor, disorientated. He tried to get up and say something but a bag of cash flew into his face.

"Hehe, damn villain"

Soon, police turned up and he got apprehended him. They thanked Izuku but not before saying he can't use his quirk without a hero license, where he got amazed looks by correcting them that he took him down quirkless. A few questions later, he was able to walk away. He decided to go to his house but wasted no time in thinking why he couldn't use his quirk or why Uraraka was with him.

He reached his house and took out his keys, before realising he couldn't find them. somewhat annoyed, he decided to knock on his house and see if his mom was in there. The door opened and instead of being met with a smiling Inko, he was met with a middle-aged guy with a few kids behind him.

"Could I help you?" he groaned, obviously looking very annoyed. Izuku did a double-take and checked if this was the correct house, which it was.

"Is there an Inko Midoriya in this household?" he asked politely

"No, ever heard of her nor has anyone called Inko lived here since I bought this property years ago," he answered, also confused.

"Oh, sorry to bother you then", Izuku said, slightly sad. 'What the hell is going on?'

With nowhere to go and not knowing what is going on, Izuku decided to go UA and see if things are normal there...
