Chapter 7 - Lesson Learnt

Izuku POV

I chose Uraraka and Fumikage so I needed one more person. I decided on Mei Hatsume. As she is in the support class, she is allowed to make gadgets for the team or for herself.

I walked up to her with my fingers crossed, if she says no I'm screwed - I have no plan B which is very rare. When I got to her she was talking with what seemed like her friends, I lightly tapped on her shoulder to get her attention. It worked and she turned around to face me.

"Mei, could you join my cavalry battle squad? You don't have to if you don't want to. "I said nervously. For some reason, her female friends started giggling at me, damn I probably look like an idiot.

"Sure! "She replied - "but as long as I could use my babies". She holds up a bag of gadgets.

"Of course, of course! "I nearly shouted. We then went to Uraraka and Fumikage, I then ordered them to get together as I have an announcement to make. I decided that I would only use my time quirk, though I need to inform my teammates what my quirk is. I wanted to tell the truth but I lied for the sake of keeping my quirk a secret, it will be a massive trump card if villains don't know what my quirk is.

"Guys, I just wanted to tell you guys that my quirk is to slow down things."

"Cool! Like slowing down time? " Uraraka commented. I stiffened.

"No, it has nothing to do with time" I shot back " just slows them down"

After I explained what my quirk is to everyone, I told them my plan. They at first said I was crazy but after a lot of persuasion they agreed. Mei then went to tinker with her 'babies' and came back with everything I needed. The round was about to start so I quickly got on top of my team while putting on my 1 million point headband.

"Cavalry battle starts...  NOW! "Shouted present mic through his speakers. As I predicted, everyone went for me at the start of the round. I signaled Mei to activate the thrusters at the bottom of Urarakas and her feet. Uraraka before hand made them light weight so it would go higher. This would last till the end of the round, but I knew the students wouldn't give up so easily.

Bakugou used his explosions to propel himself up towards me, Toderoki used his ice to skate upwards, Aoyama used his naval laser to blast him self towards us. I slowed down time to 0.4, everybody then went in slow motion. I concentrated hard making a field around me that had time running normally.

"Woah! Look their so slow! "Said Uraraka in awe.

I then told Mei to steer away from harm, the occasional mineta ball, sero tape or ashido acid might go too fast to dodge but dark shadow had it covered. This kept going till everyone gave up and went for each other.

"Good job guys! We managed to make them give up! "I shouted over the racket of quirks. I looked up at the leaderboard that was on the massive T.V - we were first with 1 million points. Just when I thought we were safe, one of the thrusters broke all of a sudden and Uraraka became a bit nauseous. We came tumbling down but the zero gravity stopped us from getting hurt.

Ochaco then barfed all of the floor. Our 1 advantage gone - height. I looked around and saw everyone occupied and haven't noticed we were on the ground except one team - Team Toderoki.

He had 2 or 3 headbands on him but when his eyes landed on me he told his team. They then charged me, if I stopped time, I'll probably get a migraine because of using it too much. So I just slowed down time to 0.5. Just then, Iida used a move that I hadn't expected, his engine let out blue fire and he shot through the air towards my headband.
