The hunt was on in the Slender Mansion to find the younger version of KageKao, who had gotten away with the one item that could turn all the children Creepypasta back to their normal age!
Some of the kids even pitched in to help catch the prankster; they would run about all around the upstairs area, searching in rooms and under beds. (Y/N), Jane, and BEN stuck together, being the only three who were of normal age in the mansion. Kid Masky had tagged along with them, offering his aid in their search.
"What an asshole," BEN muttered, shaking his head, "Even though he's a little kid now, Kage is still such an as-"
"Watch your mouth BEN-if Nina or one of the others hear you say those words, they'll shame you..." Masky warned; he had already been called out for cursing before. BEN rolled his eyes and bent down to check underneath the bed of KageKao's room.
"He's not in his closet either," Jane sighed, shutting the closet door and turning to the others. (Y/N) sighed deciding to search out of KageKao's room. She tried to think of all the places the trickster would usually hide, but none in particular came to mind.
She walked out into the hall where the other kid pastas were still searching. "Dwid you find Kage-Cows yet?" Kid Hoodie asked, looking up at (Y/N) curiously as she passed by him. "Not yet buddy, but we will soon. He's hiding somewhere."
"I wanna help!"
The young version of Hoodie quickly stumbled after her, trying not to trip over his own feet. "Can I get on your back?"
(Y/N) sighed and turn to the child, gently picking him up and allowing him to get to her back. He giggled as he wrapped his arms around her neck and kicked his legs excitedly. "You alright up there Hoodie?"
"Yes, let's wook for Kage-cows now!"
Just as (Y/N) was about to start walking with Hoodie aboard, she was stopped by something that had grabbed ahold of her leg, and she turned behind her to see. "It's not fair!" She saw the kid version of Candy Pop clinging to her leg, keeping her from moving. "I want to ride up there too!" He pointed up at Hoodie.
"Maybe you can get a turn after, okay?" (Y/N) tried to assure the young jester, but he wouldn't let go and kept crying. "It's not fair it's not fair it's not fair!!!"
(Y/N) sighed heavily and slowly removed Hoodie from her back, putting him down and then taking ahold of both his and Candy Pop's hand. "Why don't we all just walk together, okay?"
"B-But I thought I was gowing to wide on your back?" Hoodie whimpered. He brought his hands up to his masked face and began sobbing, and Candy Pop tried to climb on (Y/N). "This is hopeless," (Y/N) muttered, bending to try and calm Hoodie down. She rubbed his head and removed his hands from his face, assuring him with comforting words to make the child silence his crying. In the midst of doing that, she felt the weight of someone on her back and she grumbled, forgetting that Candy was trying to get on.
"Come on Candy, get off and I'll give you a ride later," She tried to get him to listen, but the kid shook his head and held to her tightly, "I don't want to!"
(Y/N) frowned, resorting to just giving up at this point, and she let Candy Pop stay on her back. She then picked up Hoodie in her arms and held him in front of her. Good thing she had become a bit stronger in her time growing as a proxy.
Carrying the two children with her, (Y/N) began looking around for JageKao again, this time searching downstairs. Few Creepypasta kids were down there, playing around with each other, and the baby ones were either crawling around or napping.
"Has any of you seen KageKao anywhere?" (Y/N) asked aloud. "Look in the trash," kid Laughing Jack snickered, and the other kids began laughing at his comment. (Y/N) rolled her eyes and head for the training room area. She head down the steps, careful to make sure that Candy was secure on her back and Hoodie in her arms. The lights were on in room, which most likely meant someone was in there since the lights were always turned off when none were present.
