The Forest and the Centaur

"As your Head of House, I do not condone it; but as a Gryffindor, right on, Mr. Park! 'Eat Slugs!' He must have been mortified! Haha!" Professor Longbottom said happily.

"Err... Thanks," Jihoon replied.

"McGonagall is really strict. We could have gotten away with that in Dumbledore's time! You have no idea how much jinxes and curses I've suffered... And no punishment was given to the caster!" Professor Longbottom said, shaking his head. He then exited the common without looking back at Jungkook and Jihoon.

"At least it's with Hagrid," Jungkook said.

"Right, but that git's coming, too," Jihoon said.

"C'mon, if it's with Hagrid, he'll surely take us to the forest, right?"

"What do you mean?"

Jungkook smiled mischievously.

"Brilliant. We'll leave him there and let the Acromantulas eat him. I'm in!"

Jungkook and Jihoon shared ideas on how they could further taunt and provoke Lee Taeyong at the forbidden forest. As much as they wanted to do these, however, they didn't want to get in trouble again and end up losing too many House points, or worse, be denied graduation.

Jungkook then remembered that he and Jihoon were talking about something else before Professor Longbottom had interrupted them. He proceeded to ask Jihoon about it again.

"Hey, I was asking earlier, what happened to you and Somi back there?"

Jihoon stiffened. "She... She thought I was too close, you know, with my arms around her and all," he said.

"Well... She grew antlers," Jungkook said, with the intention to sound serious though it sounded like a joke.

"Yeah, but, it went awkwardly at the hospital wing when Madam Longbottom said 'my girlfriend will be fine'," Jihoon said, blushing.

Jungkook grinned at Jihoon and asked, "So, are you a couple now? Is that why Somi's being—"

"No, we're not!" Jihoon answered briskly. "Just a bit carried away, I guess."

At 9:45 PM, caretaker Argus Filch took Jungkook, Jihoon, and a grumbling Lee Taeyong to Hagrid's cabin. The gamekeeper was waiting for them outside with his boarhound, Fang. Lee Taeyong kept rolling his eyes that Jungkook wished there was a curse that would make his pupils stay in the back of his head forever.

"There yer go. Thanks Argus!" said Hagrid as they reached his cabin.

"In their rightful place, the forbidden forest. Good luck getting back whole, boys," Filch said bitterly before walking back to the castle.

"Don' min' that," Hagrid said. "He's always been a bi' of a... An'way, off we go, boys!"

"It's good to be here tonight, to be honest," Jungkook told Hagrid.

"Yer must get yerself in more trouble, then," Hagrid answered.

"What's in there, anyway?" asked Taeyong rudely. "Dangerous beasts that should've not been bred in the first place. Should've been killed by the Ministry—"

"Shut up, Taeyong!" Jihoon spat hotly, "or I'll make those slugs come out somewhere on your next toilet visit."

"Another word from you—"

"Hold yer hippogriffs now, boys!" said Hagrid as they reached the edge of the forest. "So, we're doing it like this; Jihoon here stays with me, and Taeyong yer go with Jungkook. Fang'll be with yer. Send green sparks if yer in trouble!"
