I hopped out of my car and walked up to the school with my hands in my pockets, still thinking about Estelle and our big fight yesterday. It bugged me that even after that, even after basically telling me that she liked me more and then suddenly telling me that she didn't, she still held hands with Halden. They still acted like a couple and Halden seemed completely oblivious. I kinda wanted to just slap him and say, "I made out with your girlfriend right before you texted her!!"
But I didn't because if anything mattered to me, and I do not like admitting it, it was Estelle's happiness and she seemed happy so yeah. Gwen still is suspicious of me and I don't blame her, I feel really bad for kissing Estelle, but I'd never tell her. Since Gwen is suspicious, I have to be discrete and that means never talking to Estelle again.
Gwen was sitting on the grass, reading a book with her earphones in. She was nodding her head to the music. I never understood how people could do that, I'd never be able to listen to music and read a book AND nod my head to the beat at the same time! But this meant that Gwen was distracted so I sneaked behind her and grabbed her shoulders yelling "AH!"
Gwen jumped and her book flew out of her hands, landing on the grass a couple yards away from us. I almost died laughing at the expression on her face. "Not funny Jake!" She yelled back at me, but she was still grinning.
"Then why am I laughing?" I asked, picking up her book for her and helping her up.
"Because you're a really, really bad word!" Gwen laughed at me.
"Oh so you mean that you think I'm a-"
"Shut up!" Gwen punched me in the shoulder lightly and I couldn't help but laugh again. I wrapped my arm around her shoulders as we walked to the classic brick wall where most of the misfits sat.
We hopped on it and Gwen leaned her shoulder against mine. "Did I ever tell you how lucky I am to have you as a boyfriend?" She sighed.
"Hmm... No, you haven't. You were actually calling me a-"
"Shut it." Gwen grinned. That's one thing I loved about her, she hated swear words even if she wasn't Mormon or Catholic or anything like that.
"Oh, but please do go on, Gwen. I like hearing you give me compliments." I chuckled softly while Gwen looked up at me and rested her chin on my shoulder. I smiled down at her, she was unbelievably beautiful. Have I ever told you that?
"Okay... You are sexy, you have pretty eyes..."
"Go on..." I leaned in closer to her and Gwen placed her lips against mine. I kissed her back and placed on hand on her waist while the other was on the back of her neck. Gwen wrapped her arms around my neck.
I could practically feel Estelle's gaze on my back.
We pulled apart and I grinned down at her... Again. She's one of those girls that you can't help but just grin down at her. "So my aunt isn't going to be home tonight. I was thinking that you could come over and we'd hang out or something." I said.
Gwen nodded with a smile. "Yeah, that'd be nice. Maybe you can play me a couple songs on your piano or something, I like listening to you play." She replied.
"And I'd like to hear you play more on your cello, be sure to bring it. One day we should definitely play in a concert together." Gwen laughed lightly and we both hopped off the brick wall as the bell rang.

After School
---
Gwen and I met up outside of the school and we both got into my car and drove to her house to pick up her cello and back to mine. After my grandparents got too old to continue caring for me, I moved over to California to live with my aunt who's a slut and likes to go out to the bar all the time.
We made it to my house and we both walked inside. I gave Gwen a tour of the house, leaving my bedroom for last. When we made it to my bedroom, we both walked inside and Gwen bravely sat on my bed and stared around my room. I had posters of The Beatles on my walls as well as Imagine Dragons and OneRepublic. There was a CD player on my dresser and a lamp on my nightstand with a couple of car magazines that I never read.
My walls were painted such a dark blue that they looked black and there was a keyboard at the foot of my bed with a roll-y chair in front of it. Gwen sat behind the keyboard on my bed while I sat in front and began playing. Gwen listened to me, smiling brightly.
I had to be careful what I played of my songs because Gwen either already heard them or would find out my deepest secrets that I didn't want to share. Both of us were really good at detecting story behind music.
After I played a couple songs Gwen pulled her cello up and started playing. I could tell that a lot of them were about her parents fighting but one of them I didn't quite get. It was a really great song but I had absolutely no clue what it was about.
"What was that last song about?" I asked, leaning against my wall that my bed was up against.
Gwen set her cello back inside it's case and looked over at me, blushing slightly. "It's about us." She replied quietly.
I smiled at her and leaned close and kissed her. Gwen kissed back, wrapping one arm around my neck and running her fingers through it. I placed both of my hands on her back after bringing her closer. We kissed deeper and deeper, trying to get closer and it was getting kind of intense.
Gwen and I then laid back on my bed, me on top of her, holding myself up a bit with my elbows. This was the most intense kissing session that the two of us had ever had and we only got deeper and deeper into the kiss...
---
The garage door started opening and my eyes fluttered open. Gwen was lying next to me and our clothes were lying a little ways from the bed. I sat up and looked down at her. She was so beautiful.
"Gwen..." I whispered, shaking her shoulder slightly.
Gwen stirred and sat up. The blush in her cheeks was so red that she looked like an apple. I smirked a little bit and rolled out of my bed, picking up our clothes. I tossed Gwen's towards her and pulled on mine.
I looked in the mirror. My hair was even messier than normal. I smoothed it down a little bit and watched through the mirror as Gwen pulled her shirt on last, tossing her hair out from underneath.
She turned around and blushed again when she saw me looking through the mirror. I turned around and pulled her close to me again, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear and placing a soft kiss on her lips.
Gwen kissed me back, her eyes fluttering close. There was a knock on my door and I pulled back and went to open it. Gwen hurriedly smoothed her hair down before I opened it up. I guess that it didn't really matter, my aunt would be drunk anyways. Sure enough, she was swaying a little bit when I answered the door.
"Hey..." She said, looking over at Gwen who gave her a bright smile. "Whosdat?" She slurred, narrowing her eyes.
"My girlfriend. What do you want?" I asked.
"Nuffin. Bye." She turned back around and stumbled back into her room. I looked over at Gwen and grinned, she grinned back.
