Here We Go Again - Klance Highschool+AU

Chapter 3

          Keith shot up and hurried over to lances place, he climbed some trees before he got to Lances front door, he knocked on the door and waited for lance to answer. Lance smiled when he heard the knock. He opened the door and let Keith in. "Hey man, what's up?"

"I slept most of the day, I was at my secret place until now. I'm just glad I can be around someone who actually cares about me" he said with a smile "I've...your my first ever friend.." Lance smiled a bit, "I wish I close sleep like that, man must be nice haha." He closed the door behind Keith and sat back on his couch. "I'm not sure what I'd call a friend, but you're one of the closest I have at the moment, and for that I'm glad"

"I'm only able to sleep like that after I hunt, which I do every 3-4 days, depending how hungry I am" he walked over and sat down on the couch, sitting back on it. Lance leaned back and let out a sigh, "Do you like movies? I mean, would you like to watch one? I have a lot of humans movies" Keith shook his head "I'm not really into movies. The woman at the home watch them so much I got sick of them" he got up and went over to the balcony, looking out at the view "you have an amazing view from here" Lance nodded and got up, "If you want to I can take you to the top of the tree? I mean, mine isn't the highest but you can get a pretty good view of the land.. It's a really good place for watching stars"  

"Can you take my higher?" He wanted to see the view, it would hurt a little because of the sun. If he didn't stay for too long he would be fine. "Of course, do you need an umbrella or a hoodie or something to keep you out of the sun? I have both and I don't mind letting you borrow one or something. He went across the room pulling down a latter that lead to a hatch to get to his roof. "Both would be excellent actually, getting burned really freaking sucks, depending where I'm burned it can really hurt.." Lance nodded and went to his room coming back with a light blue hoodie he could wear, and went to the door getting the closed umbrella from its stand. "All set then, just follow me" Keith nodded at that, putting the hoodie on before following lance. He went up some steps and held onto him as they went higher. After the ladder there were a few large branches that were close enough together, "It's a big drop so if you get scared we can go back" He smiled a little knowing Keith wasn't the type to scare easily. He hopes not at least. Keith nodded at that "nothing really scares me so were all good" he held onto Lances hand as they went up. He wasn't scared, he just wanted to hold his hand

         Lance nodded and interlocked his and Keith's fingers as he went up. He used his other hand to open the umbrella and hold it over Keith as they popped up. Keith blushed lightly at the fingers locking. He squeezed Lances hand gently as they went up. They got all the way up and Keith looked out at the view with a smile "This.. This is amazing.." Lance blushed a bit and smiled, "Yeah, I think this is the best part about living here.. I like to come up here and watch the sun sets and the stars" Keith nodded at that "its really amazing" he took in the view for a few more minutes before the sun started to be too much "lets head back down" Lance nodded and lead Keith back down, absentmindedly keeping a hold of Keith's hand. He put the umbrella away and looked to Keith. "Anything you wanna do now?" Keith shook his head "lets just sit down and chill out, watch some horror movies. I know I said I didn't like them, but I really like horror" Lance nodded and went to the cabinet under his tv and looked though the movies, "Well, I have House Of Wax, The Boy, and Insidious one and two- I didn't get three yet but I don't watch it often"

"Lets do insidious, I really like that movie series" he sat down on the couch and let lance put in the movie. Lance nodded and set the movie up. "Alright, want anything? I mean, I know all you can really drink is soda but still.."

"Yeah, ill have a soda" he sat back on the couch, trying to get comfortable. He saw a sign the other day that he was at school about a dance, he was...he was thinking of asking Lance if he wanted to go.. Lance got two sodas and sat next to him handing Keith one, "You're pretty chill so Im gonna vent to you real quick if that's okay. So next week there's this cool dance I was thinking of going to.. At first I wanted to ask Allura... She's the leader of the debate team, she's like, the hottest fairy in school- But uh- I know she doesn't like me, and I don't even know her enough to really ask her.. I'd thought, if I won the tournament this weekend for archery she might take notice.. But I can't even ask her to that, and now I'm not even sure if I have a crush on her- Cause, I think I'm starting to like someone else... But you're really close to me now, so I wanted to ask if you'd like to watch my tournament? I can only bring one person who isn't related to me for free and I think I'd rather have it be you"
