Chapter 10

          Keith woke up the next morning with a headache, he didn't get much sleep at all. He got dressed and left the home, heading over to Lances. Lance had been awake most of the night, he was working out at the moment trying to get his mind off of things. He let out a frustrated sigh and shouted as he punched his dummy that was now placed on the roof so he wouldn't break anything, "Traaaaaako!!" An Elvish word for 'Shit' pretty much. Keith heard a yell up ahead, he hurried and climbed the trees, getting to Lances place and opening the door "Lance? Are you ok?" Lance dropped down when he heard the sound, he saw Keith and ran to hug him as tightly as he could. "I'm fine, much better now that you're here though- I was trying to work out but I keep getting frustrated.. Sorry if I worried you"

"I just heard a yell and was worried of what it was" he hugged him back tightly, he had missed him so so much, being with him, kissing him, holding him "I'm here now so its all ok" Lance nodded, "Yeah, I feel better just having you here.. And um, I wanted to ask you. Would it be ok if we took a quick nap before heading out? I know I said I'd try to get some sleep but I just couldn't" Keith nodded at that with a smile "I could barely sleep myself so a nap sounds great" he took Lances hand and walked with him to his bedroom, sitting down on the bed before laying down.

          Lance flopped down on the bed giving a soft chuckled as he got into a more comfortable spot, his arms snaking around Keith. "Mm.. I missed you too much, please don't leave me for that long ever again" He nuzzled Keith with a soft smile and closed his eyes. Keith nodded at that "I promise I wont, my birthday is tomorrow by the way" he said with a smile, wrapping his arms around Lance. He smiled, "Then we need to plan you a party~ I could introduce you to my friends- Or give you a much better present that has to be received.. Privately~" He giggled clearly already half asleep and possibly even delusional from lack of sleep- "Id honestly rather it be a party of just you and me. I mean, other than Hunk, who else would be there? I think Hunk is the only friend of yours I've met?"

"Pidge.. Mm... Shay, Rolo-" He mumbled random names as he started to drift off. "Who the hell are Shay and Rolo? I've never seen them at school. I think I may know Pidge though" he ran his fingers through Lances hair, pressing a kiss to his forehead. "Shays Hunks girl- Rolo is my ex- Ex bestie but were still friends" Lance was talking quietly mixing his words as he was falling. Keith nodded at that, he held Lance close, letting out a content sigh as he started to fall asleep. Lance feel fully asleep within seconds, he had been fighting it to be able to talk with Keith. He held Keith tightly and slept for a good few hours, it felt so good to get the rest be needed.

          Keith's breathing was quiet and even, holding Lance close in his arms. He pulled the covers more over them, wanting to feel a bit more warmth. It was around one when Lance woke up. He shifted a bit and rubbed his eyes looking to Keith. He didn't speak though in case his boyfriend was still sleeping. Keith slept soundly still, he turned onto his other side, hugging the covers to his body. He was so so comfortable, Lances bed was amazing. Lance smiled to himself when he saw Keith. He gently kissed Keith's head and got out of bed, he wanted to let Keith sleep as long as he could. So he went to his window and sat down taking his notepad out and drawing. Keith slept for another 3 hours, he woke up feeling fully refreshed. He sat up and stretched, rubbing his eyes "hey babe, did you sleep good?"

          Lance looked up from his book and smiled, "Of course" He nodded, "I always feel safe with you by me.." Keith smiled at that with a nod. He got up and stretched a bit more. He walked over and wrapped his arms around Lance, nuzzling into his neck gently. Lance smiled happily. "I'm not the best drawer. But I tried drawing you again. You just look so.. So peaceful when you sleep I can help it, I think you got me hooked on you heheh" Keith smiled with a light blush, he looked at the drawing and his eyes widened "Lance..this...this is beautiful.." He pressed a happy kiss to his cheek "I love that you draw me, you get better and better each time" he said with a smile.

          Lance blushed and shook his head, "I-Its not my best but- Thank you Keith." He kissed Keith's cheek and smiled setting the book down. "Let me get dressed while you wake up and we can head out alright?" Keith nodded at that "sounds like a good plan" he had taken off his shirt at some point from being too hot so he went to put it back on. He straightened out his hair before sitting on the couch, waiting for Lance to be ready. Lance got dressed fairly quick and got his shoes on. "Alrighty then- I'm ready to go." Keith nodded at that, he took Lances hand and walked out the door with him. He let him lock the door before climbing down with him and heading to a place he knew very well that was pretty fancy but very cheap.

          Lance went with Keith and kept looking around, "I've never been here before.. It looks so cool" Keith smiled "its one of my favorite places to go" he got them a table and looked at the menu. There was a secret menu item that he ordered that was there specifically for him. He got some plasma tubes to drink from and put his food order in. Lance looked at the menu.. "Hmm.. There are so many options.. I have no idea what I want haha" He ended up getting some spaghetti and a water with it. Keith held Lances hand gently, pressing a kiss to it with a smile. He was so happy to be with Lance again on a date. They hadn't been out together like this since Lance won his tournament.. Lance smiled at Keith and blushed a little looked down. "You're way too cute.. I love you Keith, I really do"

          Keith smiled brightly, holding Lances hand to his chest. "I love you too Lance, I love you so much. Also.. I'm sorry about the text, that was not how I wanted to say it to you the first time" Lance shook his head, "It was cute. But let's be honest I'm not going to remember, because I know well be saying it a million times more and the only only that's really gonna stick is the 'I love you' that you're gonna say when I ask you to marry me" Keith blushed deeply at that, Lance proposing to him? In the future? It just didn't seem like a possibility to him to get that far in a relationship "I'm looking forward to when that day comes. Or if its the other way around" Lance smiled and nodded as he started to eat, this was pretty good.. He wouldn't mind coming back here- "Thanks Keith, I know you don't really eat so I feel bad if you're always paying for me to eat.. But this is really nice"

"I'm glad that I can pay for you, I really don't mind at all, plus I get a good discount for coming here so often" he said with a chuckle. They got their food and Keith started eating, he was really hungry. Lance ate quietly. He wasn't sure what to talk about, and he didn't want to say anything that could upset Keith or anything since Lotor has been watching Lance lately. Keith ate his food before looking over at Lance, smiling at him "so what have you been up to lately? Anything fun?" Lance shook his head, "Oh uh, not really. it's mainly just been trying to avoid Lotor and wondering the forest when I couldn't sleep" Keith nodded at that "what has he been doing? Besides being an asshole. Do I need to teach him a lesson?"

"He's just being petty and stalking me.. I kind of dated him a year or two ago and well, he hasn't really gotten over it. So now he just threatens me and beats me up sometimes and tried to force me to-" He shook his head, "It's fine though I always get out fine so don't worry" Keith's eyes widened at what he was hearing "next time I see him, I'm tearing him to shreds.." He said in an angry tone, his eyes starting to turn red. He was like that for a few minutes, eating his food and drinking his plasma. Lance held Keith's hand a bit tighter, "It's ok Keith, really"He brought his hand up kissing it, "I love you" He mumbled quietly, today was like, the second best day of his life so far. Keith looked over at him, he slowly started to calm down, his eyes going back to their normal purple color.
