All those years I had learnt to accurately puncture the wooden target with bullets and tonight I held on it for my dear life. The cold metal trigger suddenly seemed foreign against my skin as I tucked it safely taking in the fact that it can actually take away someone's life. I tried not to reflect my growing panic as Ryan helped me climb the high metal gate. He moved with strange agility through the pitch dark basketball court towards the school building with me right at his heels stumbling and trying not to loose my foot.

"Suzanne can you see them?" His voice rang through the bug in my ears.

"They are 30 feet away from you".

The sound of high heels clanking on stairs echoed through the empty air and I quickly ducked under the stairwell on hearing a very familiar voice closing on me.

"Sky,stay where you are. I have your back". I didn't dare to reply.

"Vienna just stop freaking me out".

"You said it was a date. Liar. Don't you think I already know that you're here for your fucking business".

"I already told you its a dare and I need to get to that first. So,just shut up". Raphael's voice was harsh as he stood on the stairs his fingers working quickly on the keypad.

We already knew about Raphael's presence but we didn't track Vienna's phone anywhere near the school and her presence in the middle of the night made her one of our top suspects. Although I felt nothing but resentment towards her I still didn't believe she was anyway involved in this nasty business.

That's when someone else decided to grace us with her presence although we already knew she would be there.
"Seems like your night hunt has failed baby".

I couldn't see her face but her voice was dangerously closing on me her high heels annoyingly clanking as she strode towards the distressed couple.

"Vienna? Darling what are you doing here?".

"Bitch . Of course it had to be you".
Raphael voice was threatening and Perry chuckled heartily.

"Baby, you know me so well. But what is she doing here. I thought it would be only us?" She flirted her voice dripping with saccharine.

"Yeah I thought we were on a date but then I realized it was some stupid dare". Vienna paused and then added rather weakly.

"Since you found your real date for the night,I should leave". She was such an idiot believing that her so called boyfriend had actually planned a date in the deserted school at the middle of the night. She didn't even bother to ask Perry why she had been here. No one cared to stop her as her retreating form disappeared towards the school backyard. She was just an innocent victim and I felt my protective bestie instinct kick in instantly.

"Breaking into the school at midnight for a date that's so romantic". Perry mocked as she stepped into my field of view and I could clearly see her heavily painted face.

"You know how stubborn she is. She actually saw the text and then I had to make up the whole dating story".

"We're so screwed".

"Do you have it?"

"Yeah".

"Great now we got to take care of this girl before she spills everything to her slutty friends". Raphael hunched over the railings deeply pondering and I couldn't help the panic surging through me.

"We can't risk the bitch opening our secrets before the principal".

"No Raph. She is the principal's daughter. You can't just kill her".

I felt as if the ground beneath my feet had been lifted off. My heart pounded in my ears as they ignorantly hatched a plan and every bone of my body wanted to blow it up on their stupid faces.

"I have her keys. She's probably still there if not enough to walk all the way home".

"What should I do?" I couldn't help the look of surprise on his face. Ryan really read my mind without even seeing my face. Was it creepy or amazing? I had no time to wonder rather I sprinted towards the shortcut narrating my plan as I tried not to stumble in the dark.

"Just don't do anything reckless". A smiled slipped through my lips as he whispered through the bug.

Years of leading a bunch of notorious girls has led me to venture through all the shortcut passages. I guess I knew them better than the school architect.
Viennai leaned by her hoods absent mindedly playing with her curls.

"How to knock out someone?" I suddenly realized I wasn't a fucking martial art champion.

It was Suzanne who replied instantly.
"A blow to the temple would do".

She didn't realize my presence as I used the butt of my gun to hit the exact spot. She collapsed heavily on me. I half dragged, half carried her limp form into the abandoned car shed and shielded her from view by cowering her behind some boxes and tarpaulins.

"I'm done".

"30 seconds". Ryan warned his voice barely a whisper.

My hands fumbled as I tried to break the lock without making noise and after some frivolous attempts the rusted lock finally gave away. Footsteps grew louder and I panicked as the gate refused to budge. I'm so dead tonight.

Bang!

The night air was eerily quiet until the rusted school gate soon followed by the gun shot together decided to disrupt the peace.
