Warning: Cuteness overload . LONG CHAPTER AHEAD!!!
Sakura's POV
Sadly, Yuzuru and I had to be separated for a week since he would be staying inside the Olympic Village, which was for participants and staff only. However, my assistant; Makita-san booked me in a nearby hotel which helped, though I still wouldn't be able to visit him freely due to protocols.
"Text or call me if anything happens, okay?" Yuzuru asked me as we stood outside the gate
"I will" I told him. "Don't get too stressed out, just do your best and don't strain yourself"
"Yes mom" he smiled like a kid.
"Now you go inside because you need to rest" I said. "I better go now, bye Yuzu"
"Okay, bye" he replied in a sad tone.
When I turned my back and started to walk away from him, a sudden pull from behind almost knocked me off. I found myself buried in Yuzuru's chest. I felt my cheeks went hot when he gently placed his hand on my head as he hugged me.
"Yuzu" I breathed out.
"I don't want you to go" said Yuzuru. "I want you to stay by my side"
"Me too" I said in a low voice. Not sure whether he heard what I said. "Don't worry, I'll visit you when you want me too"
Silence soon came and he broke the hug. I couldn't help but turn away due to my red cheeks. I felt like a teenage girl who couldn't control her own emotions. I felt like a mess infront of him. When I turned my face to look at Yuzuru, I saw him giggling childishly over my reaction, which flustered me even more.
"Ya, I told you to stop teasing me!" I warned, my cheeks even redder at this point. "O-O-Or else I'll d-"
"Do what?" he continued laughing. I found myself walking towards him slowly, my mind was in a state of mess.
And just like that I tiptoed and leaned over to his ear. Yuzuru's laughter died down and he went dead silent.
"This" I whispered before kissing him on his cheek. when I moved away, I saw Yuzuru's face went all red. But before Yuzuru could even say anything, I already ran away like I was fighting for my life. My emotions were all over the place now, I couldn't think straight, I didn't know what to do. His flustered face echoed in my mind. Why did I kiss him? What the hell went inside of me?
I reached the hotel were I was supposed to be staying, and met my assistant by the entrance. My knees finally collapsed as I was out of breath from running. Makita-san immediately hurried over to my aid and helped me stand up.
"Sakura!" She called out. "What on earth happened to you?"
"I-I-I was running" I panted. "W-W-water please"
"Here you go" said Makita-san as she handed me a bottle of water and I immediately drank from it.
"We better go inside it's cold out here, you might get sick" she added, and we then went to our respective rooms.
Yuzuru's POV
When Sakura started to walk away from me, I couldn't help it but feel really sad. I didn't want to see her go, nor be away from me. A week without her by my side is too long and the thought really bothered me. I wanted to hug her so badly and I hesitated at first, but then I eventually found her in my arms. I knew I was blushing so badly since my cheeks went hot, and so I hugged her till I felt calmer. When I broke off from our hug, Sakura couldn't even look at me straight in the eye which looked really cute, and so, like always, I found myself laughing over her reaction again.
