The following 2 weeks crawled by and I didn't leave my room much. I didn't really meet up with anyone either, because it was getting harder and harder not to think about how I'd lied to Ashton in such a horrible way and it was eating me up inside. I cried a lot and I didn't eat much, nor did I want to because I felt sick all the time and I felt like I was just going round in circles. People asked if I was okay but I just wanted to be left alone to try and figure this thing out, but it was impossible. I did go round the guys’ house at the end of the second week but I sat there not really wanting to talk much...

“Hanna are you sure you’re okay?” Ashton asked. He had no idea.

“Yeah, why wouldn’t I be?” I tried to smile but it hurt inside to be smiling so I just nodded. Michael kept staring at me and every time I looked his way my eyes would lock with his gaze and-

“Hanna?” Luke coughed.

“Sorry, what?” I snapped out of my day dream, but looked over once more at Michael who was now smirking at me.

“We were saying, do you want to go out for dinner with us all tonight?” Ashton smiled at me. No, not at all. I can’t sit there with everyone trying to make me laugh and Michael acting weird as usual, so no I can’t-

“Yeah sure,” I sighed. Damn.

We all climbed into Michael’s car and drove to Pizza Hut because we couldn’t think of anywhere else to go. I sat in the back between Luke and Calum who were having a game of ‘let’s flick each other until Hanna gets really annoyed’ and I ended up grabbing both their hands and pressing them against the seat so they couldn’t flick each other.

“Jeez you had to leave me in the back with these two,” I laughed as Calum yelled at me to let go of him.

“You’re strong Hanna,” Luke said, trying to get away from my grip, “but not strong enou- oh.”

“Luke just face it, she’s stronger than you,” Calum laughed and I let go of his hand, “ha! I’m free!”

“Calum,” Luke whined.

“Stop flirting, you two,” I giggled. That then started another argument about whether they were actually flirting or not and I actually managed to laugh.

We finally arrived at Pizza Hut and we all ordered pizza. I ate as much as I could but I wasn’t really very hungry, although they did manage to make me laugh a few times.

“You didn’t eat much Han,” Ash murmured as he leaned against my shoulder.

“I’m fine Ash,” I said, leaning my head against his.

He tilted his head up and kissed me quickly before leaning his forehead against mine and just looking at me as I smiled and he smiled back. I ignored the chair scraping along the floor that I heard but then I heard footsteps heading towards the exit and I snapped out of it to see Michael’s chair empty.
