It was a Saturday when something exciting happened. My cousin, Chloe, Skyped me with some great (..?) news.
"Hanna!" Chloe squealed.
"Hey Chloe," I said, trying to sound excited but it sounded lifeless and damp.
"How have you been?" she asked. Oh you know just beating myself up over something stupid I did and it's eating me up inside.
"Fine," I replied, "you?"
"I've been amazing! I have something to ask you by the way," she said, excitement running through her voice.
"Go on," I said. All I needed was to clear my head and escape everything.
"Come visit me in England?" she squealed, "you can come home to Cornwall!"
"Oh my god," clear my head this was exactly what I wanted, right? "I'll think about it, of course. How long for?"
"Well we were talking and we thought you could come here for a month and then... Well... I have money saved up, and so do you, right? So I was thinking we could do some travelling for half a year!" she practically screamed with excitement, a huge grin on her face. Half a year? Half a year away from everything?
"I- wow... Um... Well I'll have to think about this," I stuttered.
"Of course, and don't worry, I already talked to Ebony about it and she's all in on this thing," Chloe smiled.
Wow.

I had sat for hours thinking about the proposal to go to travelling with my cousin, until eventually Ebony told me to get Michael and Ashton to talk to me about this, because she had already immediately said I should go.
I was waiting for them to arrive, passing the time playing Fifa, when I heard a loud knock on the door.
“Hanna-Rose,” Michael yelled as they let themselves into the house.
“Yeah just come on in,” I shouted back sarcastically. Ashton and Michael came into the living room and Ashton pulled me to my feet to hug me, where as Michael just literally high fived me, making me laugh. Michael dived onto the sofa, taking up the whole thing so I sat on his legs, making him whine and kick me jokingly, so Ash and I somehow ended up on the floor.
“So why are we gathered here?” Ashton asked.
“Because I have to get your opinions on something,” I said quietly, nervously biting my nails.
“What?” Michael said, sitting up, suddenly interested in what I had to say.
“Well... my cousin skyped me... and...” I took a deep breath, “she asked me to go travelling with her.”
