Sanford looked at Ace, confused.
Sanford: "W-what condissssion?"
Ace sighed and looked at the rest. All of them were green and all had the condition.
Ace: "We are the Gangreen Gang and we all have the gangrene disease."
Sanford was shocked. He didn't know gangrene could affect the whole body. Sanford hung his head.
Sanford: "I'm sssory. I don't have itss."
Ace nodded. Sanford looked up at him.
Sanford: "Ssshould I leave sssince I don't have the disease?"
Sanford headed for the door, till Ace grabbed on to his arm.
Ace: "You don't have to go. I offered you to live here and I am not gonna break my promise."
Sanford didn't notice, but he was blushing. Ace released the kid's hand and sighed, again.
Ace: "Sanford, if anything ever happens, please never give up on us."
Sanford nodded. Ace, then, pulled Sanford into a hug. The rest of the gang stared in aw. Arturo leaned to the other two.
Arturo: "they're crushing for each other...I can since it."
Big Billy and Grubber nodded to this.
Later on, Ace was teaching Sanford fighting moves. Sanford was good. He had good reflects. Ace was surprised.
Ace: "Ok. Now everytime I try to punch you, you block."
Ace charged at Sanford and Sanford did what he was told. He blocked Ace, grabbed a hold of Ace's arm and pushed him to the ground. Ace hit the floor hard, but wasn't hurt. He looked up at Sanford to see that Sanford held on to his mouth as if he was ashamed about what he have done. Ace got up and chuckled.
Ace: "Good job. I see, you've been following along with the training."
Sanford frowned: "Why do we need to fight, Boss?"
Ace looked down.
Ace: "I didn't say we were good."
