Sanford sat on his mattress, thinking of what Ace said. Sanford blushed. He wanted the expression to be less painful. Sanford got up and walked in the bathroom. After Ace would abuse Sanford, he would leave marks. Sanford kept them hidden with bandages, so Ace wouldn't know.
Sanford replaced his old bandages with news one.
On his way back to his room, he bumped into a wasted Ace and a tired Arturo. Ace was on the ground, leaning to the wall, breathing heavily. Arturo was trying to keep Ace sitting up.
Sanford: "W-what'sss happening? W-what'sss wrong with Acsse?"
Arturo looked up at the frightened Sanford.
Arturo: "*sigh*, Gangrene's affecting his lung".
Sanford frozed. This scared him. Sanford kneeled to his boss. Before he could speak, Ace lunged at him and hugged him. Sanford hugged back, sobbing. Was his boss going to die?
After this, Sanford took Ace to bed with him. Ace fell asleep quickly with no problem. Sanford laid there for a little and thought to himself. Ace never told him his gangrene was hurting him.
