    The next day, Sanford was walking in around the city. Bubbles saw him and decided to follow Snake to see what he was doing, to be cautious. Snake was quiet. He ignored anyone who commented on him. Even if the comments were bad. Bubbles saw Snake walked in a building that was worn down and abandon. This was strange. Bubbles sneak in and heard Snake whispering to something. It sound like he was pleading to something or someone. Bubbles tried to opened the door, but it was locked.
    The Powerpuff girl placed her ear on the door. "Pleasse" Snake said to someone, "I don't know how long he can ssstand it. I know he'sss ssstrong, but he getsss weaker everyday. He won't even do the thingsss he lovesss". Bubbles wanted to know what was going on. She heard laughter. It was familiar. "What's in it for me?" the voice said, "What will you do to get your wish." Bubbles saw bright lights shining from the door. She heated the door with her eyes and zoomed in. Snake was the only one on the room now. Something was up. He looked emotionless. "Sanford!" Bubbles asked, "Are you ok?" Snake looked at her. His eyes were dull. "I-I gave up half my sssoul and life t-to give A-Assce the health he needsss to pull th-through." Bubbles was shocked. She saw Snake looked very weak. "D-Don't worry" Snake said, "I'll recover. It'sss only haft. I'll be fine"
    Snake was planning to give half his life to HIM, to give Ace the strength to fight the gangrene. When Snake regains his half, he will give to Him to keep Ace alive.
    Bubbles was concerned. "Snake, no" She warned, "HIM could double cross you. He-he could kill you and break his promise, killing Ace." Snake's expression changed. He got angry.
    "How do you possssibly know thatsss" He yelled, "He might do that to ssssomeone like yousss, becaussse you are a Powerpuff Girl! I'm notsss. I can trussst him! Fuck you!!! I-"
    Snake collapsed to the floor, loosing his energy. "I-I ssshouldn't yell" He stated, "I jussst need to get to Acsse and sssee if it worked." He slowly stood up and walked away, forgetting about Bubbles. Bubbles knew Snake was endanger to the fact that he was making a deal with HIM.
   
    Snake got back and was welcomed by Lil Arturo, who was filled with joy. "Snake!" He said, "Ace was laying on the couchm and just sat up and said he could breathe. He's in his room right now. I think he's gangrene healed or something!"
    Snake was surprised. Lil Arturo, suddenly frowned. "You don't look so good" Lil Arturo pointed out, "Did you get anything to eat? Because, you look like your gonna collapse at any moment." Snake frowned as well, but shrugged it off. "I'm finesss" He answered, "Jussst tiredsss."
    Snake walked in Ace's room and saw him sitting on the mattress. Ace saw Snake, immediately. "Snake!" He said in joy, "I'm feeling better! It doesn't hurt. I was just laying in the couch, trying to ignore the pain. But, the pain just disappeared! I think I beat it!" Snake smiled. He wanted to cry in joy. Ace was happy and healthy. His pain was gone. Bubbles was wrong. HIM didn't double cross him. Ace is safe. Snake was safe.
