It felt colder than usual that day making him shiver beneath the five layers he had draped over himself. The scarf around his neck was practically cutting off his circulation at this point yet he insisted he had to do it...for fashion purposes...though for the sake of "casual breakfast" he decided to keep that to himself.....he surely didn't spend the rest of the night...awake...and trying to find an outfit
of course not.
He stood beneath the pancake place y/n and him always used to come to when they first became friends. He still had your order memorized "Anything with chocolate in it" he chuckled to himself.
A car horn sounded behind him making his whole person jump before he looked forward again only....only to see you.
His whole world seemed to fall apart in mere moments...remembering what it meant to truly love....remembering how it felt to feel his heart pound in his chest without rest.....remembering how he could stay in a perpetual state of shock by just meeting gazes with you....with his one.
As you walked closer to him he could see that you weren't paying attention to where you were going. You wanted to get to the pancake place as fast as possible and hopefully devour as much chocolate as you possibly could before your stomach gave in. You ran across the street making sure there were no cars on either side.
Your pace quickened. Now perhaps skipping and running in one running till finally you felt two arms bracing you from running into the man's chest.
You were aware of his breath hitting your cheeks...each moment that passed causing them to redden a bit more. You stood shocked in his arms as you hesitantly looked up.
"Hi" his voice squeaked a bit making you laugh.
His eyes widened by how easily he could ruin a moment but ultimately sighed out in relief- glad that he had caused you to smile.
"Hi" you mimicked back at him making him turn on his heels "ahhhhh" he hid his face in embarassment
"Anio" quickly catching him by the shoulder, turning him back to face you.
You continued laughing as he gestured you to follow him inside.
"Just...come on" he sighed before avoiding eye contact with you as best he could.
"Of course" you said in a high pitched voice making him sigh even more dramatically
You happily went inside completely unaware of what was about to take place.
