The English weather has not been kind to me, cold one of many of the year. Slow updates for the next two weeks need to be prepared. Gosh, dangit England. Anyway, onto the chapter. Byeee! *Clap**Clap*

Ben

"Jack Barky! Get back here!" Grace yelled, chasing after the puppy that had run off from where she was petting him on the picnic blanket.

As of right now, we were all sat in Central Park, on the warmest day of November. Which isn't that warm. But it is dry, with no snow and a Saturday so we thought we would get out of the house for a while. It was actually Grace's idea, she wanted to celebrate Josh getting a job at Broadway Collective. He decided it was best to lay off the acting but he wanted to stay in the Broadway business so teaching was his next option in his book's.

After a few minutes of Grace's absence, Liz broke the peaceful silence. "You know, I should go see if she is okay," Liz stood up, looking around to see if she could see Grace.

"Do you need me to help you look?" I asked, standing up as well.

"Is it okay if we leave you alone for a few minutes Josh?"

"Yep!" he exclaimed, popping the 'p', glancing up from his book. "I won't move from this spot."

"Okay," I nodded, following Liz who had already begun making her away across a field of grass.

I jogged up to her, grabbing her by the hand, pulling her in another direction. I could feel the smirk spreading across my face as  I pressed her back against a trunk of a tree, looking deep into her eyes.

"You know I hate that face," she pouted.

"And why's that?" I smirked further, my face near her's.

"Because I can't resist you!" she groaned.

I placed my forehead on her's, listening to her steady breaths that were escaping her mouth. "Can I kiss you?"

She leaned up, closing the gap between our lips. Her touch was soft, one that I treasure so completely. Her hand reached up to my cheek, bringing a welcoming warmth along with it. I pulled her close, wrapping my arm around her waist. It was a peaceful moment, one that I would never give up. Even if I was right in the argument. I wouldn't give up Lizzy even to win.

"Ewwww!" A voice exclaimed.

We both pulled away, covering our mouths as if that would help the situation, completely embarrassed that we were interpreted. I still held Lizzy close, turning my head to see Grace standing there disgusted, Jack Barky wagging his tale innocently beside her.

It was Lizzy who laughed first, unable to contain it. I snorted at her cute laugh, attempting to hold in my laughter but failing miserably. Grace just looked at us bewildered, before taking Jack Barky's lead and guiding him away.

"That, that was erm interesting," I stuttered, my laughter slowly dying down. Lizzy leaned her head on my chest still laughing but silently. Her body was wracking back and forth with laughter, sending vibrations through me.

She looked up, holding her forehead, flushed completely red. "Tell me the truth, am I redder than Sky's hair?"

I examined her, quickly pecking her lips, "Yes, but you're still beautiful."

She looked down, trying to conceal the cute, embarrassed smile she pulled when she was complimented, but I could still see it. I lifted her chin with my hand, meeting her gaze. "That's why I asked you to marry me."

"You treat me too well," she laughed tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"You deserve it," I said squidging both of her cheeks with my hands.

"I know," she smiled, moving my hands.

We stayed there for a while, taking in the moment. Just staring into each other's gaze. It must have been at least ten minutes before the real work sunk back into place, replacing romance with my duties to Grace and Josh.

I grabbed one of Lizzy's hands and led her away from the tree back towards the picnic blanket. The blanket was just a splodge in the distance, on the other side of the massive field but I knew something was almost instantly wrong. There was no Josh size figure on the blanket, or anywhere near it.

I began to sprint across the field as fast as my legs could take me, Lizzy, following closely behind, nearing the blanket meter by meter. A worried Grace approached me a few meters from the blanket.

"He's gone, I've looked all around for the last ten minutes, I can't see him," she panted breathlessly, "Ben what are we going to do?"

I placed my hand on her shoulder, "Hey, we will find him, he can't have gone far."

"What will we do?" Asked Lizzy.

Just like a flick of a light switch, an idea popped into my head. "Contact everyone you know who lives in New York and ask them if they can come here and help us find him."

"Okay," they both nodded. We all began texting numerous people, mainly cast and crew members from our respective shows.

-.x.-

It only took minutes for people from the shows to congregate around our picnic blanket. Some had already gone out in search of him, including Lizzy whilst I was devising a plan to thoroughly look for Josh.

I knew at his point he was confused. He probably had no idea where he was going, it was one of the things the doctor had warned me about - him becoming forgetful about where he is going. He described it as if a cloud goes over him memories for a while but then they come back and he's confused as to where he is. At that point, he will be likely to have a panic attack, confused as to where he is. I was internally kicking myself for the mistake I made. The mistake that was endangering Josh. My mind spun with What If's, intricately plotting all the possible outcomes of the situation.

"Right," I announced getting people's attention. So many people had come in search for Josh, it almost made me happy, that he was so loved by the Broadway community, but alas we were in the most undesirable situation that my brain could think of.

"Grace, you'll stay here with Jack Barky and..." I scoured the crowd for a face Josh would easily recognize. "Chaz. If he comes back here he needs to see familiar faces."

They both nodded, still looking around for any sign of Josh.

"Okay, the rest of us will squower the city. I texted Lizzy, her cast will do lower Manhatten, one person per street, west to east. Newsies, you'll do north Manhatten, Fireflies mid-Manhatten and Mean Girls, multiple people per avenue, North to the south. Both sides."

A sea of nodding heads surrounded me. I clapped and sent them off. They all went in their respective directions, leaving just me and Sky left. "He'll be okay won't he?" It was more of a statement, one that I wanted to be true more than anything. But I wasn't sure. At this point, I wasn't sure of anything regarding Josh, and I most certainly don't know if he'll be okay.

Sky nodded, ignoring my indecisiveness over the fate of my friend. My best friend. My brother. "He'll be fine. So many people are looking for him. He can't have gone far."

I licked my lips nervously, nodding despite not believing him. With that, we both set off. We both had decided to look over Central Park to see if he was still here. I had to find him. I just had to. I couldn't live with myself if something happened to him.
