It was during lunch that it began to down pour. The thunder claps were loud, and dark skies surrounded the school building. It made Andy anxious, but Thea relaxed.

"I like clouds." Thea shrugs. "I burn in the sun, this is better."

"I get wet in storms, and the thunder is terrible."

"Thats the best part." The beta giggles as they stop at his locker. There were only a few times where Andy stopped to grab new supplies, but his pen dried out and he needed a new one.

What he didnt expect, though, were a few roses to fall at his feet when the it opened. Thea raised an eyebrow, amused.

"Those are mommys roses." She giggles. "Seems like the biggest of the bunch, too."

The omega bends down and picks all three flowers up. He sniffs one, and he furrows his brows for a second. Not only did it smell fresh and lovely, it smelled like wet dog.

"James..." He smiles and his eyes drift to his locker, grabbing the little envelope sitting on top of his books.

He opens it, reading the small note paper.

We are both made of
Fire and ash, but our flames
Play well together
    -James

"That is so cute, its gross." Thea whispers in awe. "Who knew that bastard could write?"

Theres silence and Andy giggles to himself before putting the note in his vest pocket and holding the flowers as he closes the locker.

"So?" His sister asks. "Are you going to say yes?"

"What do you mean?"

"Theyre obviously serious about courting you, Andrew, and I think you should take it." Thea clutches her laptop close as they walk by a goon of alphas. Some whistle at her, others throw insults at Andy. "It could work."

"And it could not? Then how would the family be?"

"We would be fine." Andy shakes his heads at her words and walks down the hall with a rose in his hand. The whispers start instantly, and he blushed under the attention.

"Someone must be courting Andrew." A beta said and Thea knew it was one of James friends. "Wonder who it is..."

He spent the day being the apple of peoples eye. He couldnt go anywhere without getting stares and it made him a bit uncomfortable. Why is it so shocking? Is this what being courted by the Styles alphas is like?

He hated this, but he really had to think it through. Clearly, James and Max were serious about courting and mating him. He didn't know how he felt about it, whether it was a positive or negative thing, and he had to figure out what was best for him.

"Hey." Sophia looked up as Angel walked up to her in the halls. She was getting ready to leave early, not wanting to miss one of the most important meetings of the Styles company.

The beta smiles. "Hello."

"Do you want to hang out later?" Sophia blushes as Angel takes her hand, walking to the front of the building with her. "Just the two of us?"

"I wish I could." The beta answers, biting her lip and looking at her heels. "I have a lot of business to take care of with my dads."

Angel nods, stopping at the doors and humming. "Right, I forgot. Busy girl."

Sophia giggles at her teasing tone, and the alpha sighs dramatically. She kisses Sophia's knuckles, sufficiently quieting her down.

"See you at the party, then? Two days away."
