A few days go by, and it's suddenly Thursday. Andy is back at school, and not one person besides his siblings have approached him- not even his teachers.
"I'm telling you," Thea says, "that it's definitely the scent. Max and James made sure to put their print on you."
"Dads haven't said anything?" Andy mumbles with a frown.
"None of them have gotten close enough to." Thea reminds him when they stop at her locker. "Max and James haven't let any alpha near you since Monday. They're so clingy, and you definitely aren't going to convince me that they didn't help you."
"My heat is strictly my business." Andy says and he screams softly when two arms wrap around him.
"There's an alpha staring at you." Max growls as he scents the omega. "Better keep her distance."
"How would that even work?" Andy frowns. "How would she... you know, without a... you know?"
"You think alpha women have vaginas?" Thea questions, and Andy nods. Max laughs which causes him to blush. "That would be completely useless. They don't carry so there would be no use for it."
"You're telling me they have...?" Andy replies.
"That's where a knot comes from, not a vagina." Thea sniggers and shuts her locker. "Come on, we have class."

"James!" The alpha yelps when his collar is yanked down a side hall, and he coughs before putting whoever had him in an arm twist. "Oh, that's trash."
The person head butts his face, and kicks him to the ground. The alpha groans, looking around the empty halls- they were out during class time- then at his attacker.
"Are you fucking serious?" He growls and kicks the back of Vivianna's knees, making her collapse. "What are you doing!?"
"You better tell me the truth, James Styles, or so help me.." She makes quick movement to pin her brother down. "You helped Andrew in his heat."
"You nosey little bitch." James growls and shoves her off. "No, we didn't."
"I know you did."
"And how?"
"Every time you're around him you pop a hardy, you scent him nonstop, and growl at any alpha- even dads! You soooo did the naughty- ah!" She coughs when James puts her in a head lock.
"If you know what's good for you, you'll keep your mouth shut." The alpha growls and Vivianna is quick to tap out when he squeezes her pipes. He lets her go and huffs.
"I just wanted to say," she gasps, "that if you hurt him, I will rip your knot off and murder you in your sleep."
"If I ever were to hurt him-" A worried look spreads across his face. "God, I'd kill myself before you had the chance."
"Woah, calm down."
"I would never want to hurt my Andy. My sweet little bunny- You think I'll hurt him?" James asks and nibbles on his nail bed. "Oh gosh, do you think Max will? Andy's way more attached to him, it'd hurt him more-"
"You're rambling." Vivianna rushes out. "And Andrew loves you both equally."
"He has a better courting with Max than myself."
"Cause Max makes it point to have alone time with him, even if it's just a walk from class to class." Vivianna shrugs. "Take Andy out on your own. Show your alpha without Max."
James frowns before sighing. "Yeah..."
"Hey," She hugs her brother. "You are just as good as Maximus."
James nods, somewhat more confident. "Yeah."

Sophia stares at her lunch, playing with it since she really wasn't that hungry. She checks the time before rolling her eyes. The last bell couldn't ring soon enough.
Today was one of those days where her mothers forced her to school, and she is dreading it. Angel hasn't spoken to her at all, and it really shouldn't bother the beta but the last conversation she had with Angel stuck a chord with her.
Has she been neglecting her friendship with the alpha? Has she taken her for granted? Possibly.
"Hi, lovely," Sophia jumps at the voice before looking up to see her mate, "aren't you going to eat?"
"Not hungry." Sophia mumbles and looks back down at her home made sandwich.
"Okay, I'll bite." Lily scoops some mashed potatoes into her mouth. "What's upsetting you?"
"It's nothing, really." The beta shrugs, and looks at where Angel sat. She puts her elbows on the table, frowning as she thinks. She has taken Angel for granted, hasn't she?
"Don't tell me it's her." Lily says and there's an edge to her tone that Sophia catches. Jealousy, perhaps, because the omega hasn't liked Angel from the start. "It is her, isn't it?"
"She came to my work." Sophia says honestly, and she breaks her eyes away from her alpha friend and towards her omega mate. "She's been worried about me since I don't answer her texts."
"Well, you shouldn't." Lily snorts. "I asked you not to, after all."
And something clicks for Sophia, it really does.
"You know I love you, and I would do anything to make you happy." Sophia says and looks at her food. "I just think it's a good thing for me to have a life outside of my family and us."
"Excuse me?"
"I did as you asked so you wouldn't be upset, but I don't think I took into consideration that Angel actually cared about me. She wanted to be my friend, and she was being a good one. I think I need someone like her, someone outside of what I'm used to."
There's a pause, and Sophia looks back up at Lily with nervous eyes.
"I think you need to trust me to know that if she tried anything, I would nip it in the bud and never talk to her again. You need to trust that I belong to you, and that neither her nor myself would cross that line."
"I've always trusted you." Lily whispers.
"Then please don't get upset with me when I say that I'm going to be friends with Angel." The beta bites her lip and Lily takes a deep breath. She looks from Sophia and over to Angel, her expression showing serious thought, and she subconsciously rubs her cheek.
"Alright." She says and looks at Sophia. "I trust you."
Happy New Years and sorry this is late ha
James is feeling a little insecure, any thoughts?
How about Thea and Anna being nosey about Andy's heat?
Sophia stood up to Lily about Angel, was it a good choice?
Should Lily be okay with it?
