{L's point of view}

I can't deduce exactly how i'm feeling right now; betrayed? angry? fearful?.. Perhaps all of these things. I'd had my suspicions about Light Ygami from the very first day we investigated him but I never thought I'd hear him confess. I always knew it would be him, but my emotions supressed my insticts to the extent that I was not prepared for this situation. What happens now? I've told him my name, if he wanted to, he could kill me. I can only be grateful that my blood will stain my own boyfriends hands, not some stranger's-but is he really my boyfriend or was that just some cover up for his twisted scheme to find my name?-

I balled and unballed my fists under the table, I couldn't decide whether I wanted to hit him or just run away and cry to myself. I felt hot tears escape my eyes and race their way down to my chin. I bared my teeth, how could he?

"Ryu-Lawliet?.." he called.

I stood up, slapped the younger boy (who looked just as hurt as I was) and ran as fast as I could. I didn't want to be near him any longer. I could hear him calling my alias behind me but I didn't stop to question him. I just ran until I was sure he could no longer see or find me. I delved into the nearest alley and waited for an appropriate time to emerge and make my way back to HQ. I arrived back at the base many hours later, everybody was concenerned as neither me nor Light had returned.
So he's not back yet...
I apologised for my absence and assured the team that everything was fine before descretly rushing to my room, disabling the CCTV on my way in - they didn't need to see my heartbreak. I slammed the door shut and threw myself onto my bed, sobbing into the silky pillow. Why did it have to be Light? WHY?! I screamed and threw another pillow against the wall, nearly smashing the delicate ornament that rested gracefully on the shelf. I panicked as I saw the almost-collision. Light had bought that for me for our first month anniversary. 'I do still care then', i thought, as I cried myself to sleep, hugging the pillow tighter and tighter. 

I was woken by a tapping on my bedroom door. I checked the time via my small clock upon my bedside cabinate; 2:30 am?!

"Who is it?" I called out in my sleepy voice.

"You won't agree to let me in if you know who I am... but i'm coming in anyway Ryuzaki." It was Light. I was too tired and broken to refuse his entry so I remained silent as he forced his way in.

"What do you want, Kira? Come to say your final goodbyes? I presume my name has already been put to good use." I growled as aggressively as I could. He stayed quiet. "Well?" I persisted.

"Lawliet, I stand here in front of you as Light, not Kira. I love you, and i'm here to reassure myself that you still feel the same. The investigation team downstairs were not hostile to me in any way, so I assume you haven't told them..." Light started.

"You love me?! You lied to me! You tricked me!" I screamed in reply.

"Let me prove it to you then..." He retorted in a slightly seductive tone of voice. He made his way closer to me in that confident manner I always found so attracitve. I became intrigued by his movements, by his words. I didn't have the strength to tell him to leave, I was curious as to what he meant.

{Light's point of view}

A cocktail of lust and love was burning in the pit of my stomache. Knowing Lawliet's name made my love for him even stronger-outweighing any thoughts of revenge and murder that Kira had in mind. I wanted to prove myself to Lawliet, that I am truely in love with him and it wasn't all Kira's plan. I made my way towards him and he didn't refuse me, that's a good sign. I climb onto the bed and push him down so that he is laying flat on his back. His eyes seemed darker than usual, but also much bigger and filled with anticipation. I straddled my superior  and leaned myself over his slender body to reach his face. Our lips locked without hesitation before my lips made their way to L's earlobe. I sucked on it gently and I could feel his breathing becoming heavier as my teeth grazed his skin, nibbling his ear as gently as I possibly could.
