I enjoyed these meetings with Light so much that we began to meet up as friends on a regular basis. We laughed together and shared our anecdotes, I've never had a friend before...
"I really... like you Light Yagami...and I do hope you prove to me that you're... not Kira... I will be most dissatisfied if you are who I'm looking for."
Light's friendly expression turned angry and betrayed, as it always did when I brought up my suspicion of him. I hated seeing him upset but since him and Misa have started dating...the chance has increased to 7%.
I ordered us a strawberry cheesecake and 2 cups of coffee. I removed a strawberry from the top of the cake, holding it gently from the stalk and i delicately placed it on my tongue. It's ripe juices livened all my senses as I chewed the sweet fruit and swallowed.
"Light, these strawberries are amazing! You must try one!" I insisted, holding a strawberry out to my only friend. I was expecting Light to take ahold of the strawberry for himself, but to my surprise he lent forward and took it from my fingers with his mouth, forcing my body to quiver as his teeth lightly scraped my skin. Is this how friends behave? How...interesting...
I may be the greatest detective in Japan, no, the world, but human emotion was one mystery I could not comprehend or solve.
I laughed at Light's action when I realised he was watching me for a response, is that the reaction he wanted? I've never wanted to please anyone as much as I do Light Yagami.

So, Ryuzaki wants to be my friend? I'll use this to my advantage, if I can make him tell me his real name then I'll have no need for Misa's eyes. L will be out of the way and I can kill Misa Amane soon afterward.
I wonder if friendship will be enough for L to want to confide in me.. if not I'm willing to do whatever it takes.
"...I do hope you prove to me that you're... not Kira..."
He's still persisting with me being Kira, I may have to take this relationship to new level if he doesn't stop with these accusation.
"...You must try one!" I notice the perfect opportunity to lay the seed of my newest plan into Ryuzaki's mind. Just a little extra contact between the two of us, he'll barely notice it at first, but if I need to then I can build on it with more and more flirtatious stunts.
L, you will tell me you're name.
