"Agumon!!"

Gatomon cried out looking around for the orange dinosaur digimon.

'Hmmm where is he?'

She wondered until she heard a sound of a familiar snoring. She looked up towards a tree and saw Agumon laying down on a branch sleeping. Gatomon playfully glared at the tall tree as she kicked the tree hard causing it to shake and wake up Agumon in the process but caused him to fall.

"Ow! What's your problem?"

Agumon said rubbing his head as he stood up.

"I was looking all over for you"

"Why? What's the problem?"

He asked curiously.

"Its about Tai"

Gatomon said sadly. Agumon's eyes open wide and narrowed his eyes.

"What's going on?"

"Tai hasn't been himself lately and you are the last one who could help him"

Gatomon told Agumon everything about what has been happening to Tai. Agumon let out a sigh but the look in his eyes shows concern and determination.

"Don't worry, I'll talk to him"

He said as he ran off to find a software to contact Izzy.

*Human World*

It took time for Tai to fully heal thanks to Angel. They were currently cuddled up on the couch with a blanket and was watching a movie with the lights off. Angel looked up to Tai and Tai smiled as he looked down at her, she leaned up and kissed him gently on the lips before pulling back with a content sigh.

"Angel I'm sorry we haven't made love in the last month"

Tai said quietly. Angel softly giggled and snuggled up closer to Tai's chest as he wrapped his arm around her.

"Oh Tai, don't worry about it, I just want you to get better"

Tai smiled but before he can say anything a ringtone came on from his cellphone. Angel reached up to grab it from the coffee table.

"Its says Kari"

She said handing it to him. Tai rolled his eyes as he answered.

"Yes Kari"

"....."

"What? Why?"

"......"

"Okay, I'm on my way"

He said as he hanged up. Angel looked to him.

"What was that about?"

"She wants to talk again"

Angel rolled her eyes and looked in concern as he stood up.

"You want me to give you a ride?"

Tai looked at her as he held out a hand to her.

"Please"

Angel stood up grabbing his hand as they got ready. Tai got into the passenger seat while Angel went to the driver seat and drove off. They soon arrive to a bridge. Angel looked around.

"I'm not gonna be far, so just beep me"

"Okay"

He said as he leaned over through the window and kissed Angel on the lips. She then drove off leaving Tai alone. Tai slowly made his way under the bridge to find Kari.

"Hey, what's going on?"

"There is someone who wants to meet you"

She said as she pointed to the side. Tai looked and gasp in shock.

"Hi Tai"

Agumon said with a smile. Tai got down on his knees while Agumon ran to him as they gave each other a big hug. Kari quietly left to give them some time alone.

"Agumon, its great to see you"

"Same here"

They both went to sit on the grass under the bridge away from people's eyes.

"How did you get here?"

"Izzy"

"Oh"

Tai said quietly at the mention of his old friend's name. Agumon sadly looked to Tai.

"I've heard what's been going on"

Tai remained quiet as he looked at the grass where he was sitting.

"But I don't want to believe what they told me"

Tai looked to Agumon.

"Because that doesn't sound like the Tai that I know. So I want to hear your part"

Tai looked back to the grass and glared at it.

"So that's why you are here huh? Because I didn't want to listen to them, now they send you"

"Nobody send me, Tai I told you I would always be there to protect you. They just told me what's been happening and that's why I made the decision for to come. So tell me why?"

Tai let out a sigh as he felt tears gathered in the corner of his eyes. Agumon sadly looked to his partner, he no longer recognize him from the kid he grew up with and now he's not saying anything.

"Tai"

Agumon said quietly.

"Is it my fault because I was gone for too long?"

Tai's eyes open wide as he looked to Agumon.

"No, oh God Agumon no, its not your fault"

Agumon looked to the grass as tears began to trail down his face.

"It is, if I was to always stay here with you then you wouldn't be smoking, you wouldn't be saying profanities or forgetting about your friends. If only I was a better partner then maybe I wouldn't have failed you"

"Agumon you never failed me, not once"

"Then why? Because everything you did is a reflection of my failure"

Tai gathered Agumon in his arms and hugged him tight as they cried together.

"Its just, my relationship with Sora was never stable in the begining, it was eventually going to lead to the break up. I then met this girl name Angel she was a bad girl just living in a broken world. She open my eyes and about what happened in the past with Kari getting sick and mom blaming me, I felt like everything is going to be my fault if anything was to happen to her"

He cried. Agumon gently rubbed his back but Tai groan in slight pain from the bruise, Agumon gasp at the reaction as Tai continued.

"I became part of this gang that treated me like family. I was punished because I broke a rule"

Agumon pulled back so he could look at Tai.

"I can help you"

Tai smiled.

"I just need you to be there"

Agumon smiled as he stood up.

"Come Tai, lets go talk to your parents"

Tai sadly looked down.

"I doubt they would want to see after a jerk I was"

"Their your parents, they'll understand"

Agumon said as he pulled Tai up.

"Trust me"

Agumon led Tai to his parent's home as they talk for hours but he completely forgot about Angel.
