Angel let out a sigh as the sunsets, after her experience at the digital world she knew what needs to be done in order for her to grow and move on. Tai stand beside her and sadly looked to her.

"Are you sure you'll be okay?"

He asked quietly.

"I need to do this"

She said quietly as she looked at the gravestone before her. Tai came along with Angel after she told him what she was planning to do and offered to go with her. Angel took out a paper and opened it up and got down on her knees.

"Mom.....I don't even know where to begin all my life you told me I was a problem? You weren't a role-model mother, you made me the shoplifter, the drug addict, the pornstar, the whore who let uncles and friends go to town on her"

Angel took a shakey breathe as her hands shake. Tai gently placed a hand on her shoulder but she brushed him off angrily as she continued to read as tears gathered in her eyes.

"My point is that with all the irresponsible, reckless, idiotic behavior in your past, that somehow, heh, somehow you have the nerve, the arrogance to consistently and ruthlessly point out my shortcomings..."

Angel sadly put her hand down and dropped the paper.

"I can't do this"

She said as tears trailed down her face and looked to the grave stone with her mother's name.

"Not only are you not the perfect mother, you're the farthest thing from! From the moment you gave birth to me, I had to trust you. I had no choice. I needed you to protect me from the world to, to be my guide, to help me navigate the difficult, confusing, and vulnerable journey to becoming a person. You have done NONE of those things! You were my mother and you took a child's trust and smashed it into bits in a seventeen-year long mission to destroy something that you killed a long time ago! And honestly, I forgive you... I forgive you. All my life I been blaming you because you blamed me for things I never did wrong and you're gone, I have nothing left but I'm moving on and hopefully you can too"

She said as she stood up. She gently placed two fingers against her lips and gave it a kiss before placing it on the gravestone. She then turn around to Tai and quickly wrapped her arm around his neck as she cried. Tai hugged her tightly around her waist holding as he looked at the gravestone. After Angel calm down from the crying, Tai wrapped his arm around her waist holding her close as they left the graveyard.

"Angel, do you want to get a bite to eat or do you just wanna go home?"

Tai asked after a moment of silence had past between.

"Sure I could eat"

She said quietly. Tai smiled as he gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"How are you feeling?"

He asked. Angel let out a sigh.

"Honestly, I don't know. I feel weird"

Tai chuckled softly as he opened the door for Angel as she entered into the diner. Tai sat down across from her as they opened the menu.

"What would you like to sweetheart?"

Said the waitress. Tai glared at the man but simply ignored it as Angel just ignored it and told the guy her order. Tai gave his order to the guy and once the waiter left, Tai sat beside her and wrapped his arm around her to signal that she is his. Angel notice the action and laughs.

"Is somebody jealous?"

She teased. Tai playfully glared at her.

"No, its just that we were too far apart for my taste"

"Yeah right"

She said with a smirk as Tai just grinned. The waiter then came back with the food and saw Tai smirking at him with his arm around Angel. The waiter handed Tai his plate and stood there with his arms crossed over his chest. Tai was about to take a bite of his burger but stop as he notice the waiter was there smirking.

"Go on eat it"

He said. Tai frown and looked at his burger suspiciously, no longer interested he glared at the man.

"Can I talk to the manager please?"

Tai asked with a frown. The guy smirks.

"I am the manager"

Angel rolled her eyes.

"Yeah right, your badge says 'waiter' now go get your manager or else we will call the health department"

She said sternly. The guy glared at the couple as he left to call the manager.

"All because he wanted to flirt with you"

Tai said annoyed. Angel nudge.

"Well then flirt with me"

Tai leaned close to Angel as he stared into her eyes.

"If you stood in front of a mirror holding 11 roses; you will see 12 of the most beautiful things in this word"

"Cheesy"

Angel said with a laugh.

"Okay how about this one. Roses are red, violets are blue, the sun is hot and so are you"

"Heard it"

"The spaces between your fingers are meant to be filled with mine."

He said as he intertwined their fingers together as he gave her a kiss on the nose. Just then the manager came and Tai explained what happen, the manager quickly apologize and gave Tai a free meal pass for him and Angel. After eating Tai decided to spend the night with Angel at her apartment, they got ready into bed about to go to sleep.

"Goodnight Tai"

Angel said with a yawn.

"Wait I got one more"

Tai said. Angel looked at him sleepily.

"What?"

"When I want to smile, I know exactly what to do. I just close my eyes and think of you."

Angel smiled as she lays her head on his chest.

"You're my peace through the storm"

She said quietly. Tai smiled as he stroked her hair.

"I think you beated me"

He said with a soft chuckle as he kissed her on her forehead.

"Goodnight Angel"
