The next day at school during lunch Tai and his gang were once again smoking at their table.

"Ugh I hate shrimps"

Riki said with a face of disgust as she turn away from her tray. Tai grinned as he reached out to grab her plate.

"Yes, more for me"

Tai said happily. As he was about to take a bite, but stopped when Mark looked over Tai's shoulder.

"Don't look now but its that fuckin poser"

He said with a grin. Tai raised an eyebrow and turn around to see Matt walking up to them.

"Hey, man how's it going? "

Tai asked with a smile. Matt was the total opposite, he had a scowl plastered on his face.

"Tai do you mind if I have a word with you"

"Sure"

Tai said putting his shrimp down and gave Matt his full attention. Matt growled.

"Alone"

"Why don't you tell him in front of us blondie? "

Angel asked as she blew the smoke from her mouth. Matt glared at her and waved his hand in front of his face to push away the smoke.

"Since you guys were the ones ruining my concert, I would rather have this conversation alone with Tai"

He said with a growl. Angel raised both her hands in surrender mocking him. Cleo laugh.

"Ooohhh someone's mad"

She said. Matt glanced at her giving her a harsh glare. James notice the look towards his girlfriend and quickly stood up and walked up in front of Matt's face.

"Who the fuck do you think you're staring at punk? That's my girl"

James said angrily.  Matt was unfazed and challenge him with the same attitude.

"And who the hell do you think you're talking to like that? "

That's when Riki, Angel, Mark and Cleo stood up angrily and got besides James and started yelling and cussing towards Matt who took a step back. Tai got in between his friends and Matt.

"Alright, alrigh, alright, everyone cool it"

Tai said trying to break up a start of a fight.

"I'll be back, lets go Matt"

Tai said as he followed Matt leaving his friends alone. James glared at Matt's back and yelled.

"You better watch your back fucker"

Matt stopped causing Tai to stop, he looked back and glared at James.

"Did he just threaten me?"

"Don't worry about it"

Tai said as he gently nudge Matt's back signaling him to keep going. As they continued to walk,  Matt lead Tai to their table surrounded by Sora,  Mimi, and Izzy.

"What's going on? "

Tai asked confused as he sat down.

"We are having an intervention"

Mimi stated with her arms crossed over her chest.

"About what?"

"These new friends of yours, they are nothing but bad news"

Izzy stated.

"What are you talking about? They're not bad, only if you get to know them... "

"Tai you are smoking. You never smoked before"

"Or even cuss"

Mimi added.

"So what? I'm doing what I want, I'm not a little kid anymore"

"So what, you are still our leader"

Matt stated. Tai stood up rolling his eyes annoyed.

"Well you guys can't follow leader all your lives right. What I do is my business and my business alone and there is nothing you guys can say about it"

He said as thought he made his point across but apparently Matt was also a very stubborn person.

"Those 'friends' of yours are pulling you to the wrong direction."

"My new friends are just opening my eyes about what life is really about. Why can't you just accept that? "

"Hello they trash my concert"

"Well you play crappy music"

Matt began to get even more angry but Sora stepped up before Matt even had a chance.

"This isn't you Tai"

Tai faced his girlfriend with a bored look.

"What now? "

"I mean come on, you also had your arms around another girl right in front of me, don't you even know how that made me feel"

Sora said sadly as she took a step closer to her boyfriend placing her hands on his chest. Tai roughly grabbed her hands and pushed them away staring at her with a angry glare.

"Don't act all innocent on me"

Sora's eyes open wide with tears threatening to fall.

"What? "

"Whatever, are you guys done yapping because I want to take a smoke before lunch is over"

Everyone remained silent as Tai took that as his cue to leave. As Tai was making his way back to his gang he was stopped by his coach.

"Kamiya, I haven't been seeing you at practice at all lately"

"Oh"

Tai said simply.

"What's going on you don't want to play soccer anymore? "

"I don't care"

Tai said as he walked past his coach but his coach called out his name causing him to stop.

"Kamiya, I hope to see you at practice today afterschool or else I will have no choice but to bench you for the rest of the games"

From a distance, Tai saw his gang coming his way, he turn to face his coach and smirk.

"Go fuck yourself"

He said leaving the coach stunned but Tai's gang was practically laughing because they heard him loud and clear. Tai walked out of the cafeteria with his gang as they continued to laugh.

"That was priceless"

Cleo said.

"Hilarious"

Riki said with a laugh. Tai smirk as he looked to Angel as she had her arm on his shoulder laughing.

"You should have seen his face"

Angel said with a grin.

'Her laugh is so beautiful'

Tai thought with a smile. As they made their way out of the school ditching the rest of class.

"So where are we headed? "

Mark asked.

"You guys ate, I haven't so we are gonna head to a fast food joint to get some grub"

Tai said with his hand linked to Angel as they walked side by side.

"Hey I didn't eat"

Riki complained.

"Oh shut up, we'll get you some food"

Angel said as she looked back to Riki as she and Tai were walking up ahead. Riki playfully stuck her tongue out at her.
