Its been three weeks since Tai hadn't been to Angel's apartment. He let out a sigh of joy, he was finally back in talking terms with his family thanks to Agumon. He opened the apartment door to Angel's apartment to start packing his belongings. As he was packing up inside the room he heard the front door open and close. He turn his head to the doorway and saw Angel standing their with confusion in her eyes.

"Where have you been? You left me there at the park, you haven't return any of my phone calls and messages and now you just show up out of the blue. Why and why are you packing your clothes?"

Tai let out a sigh as he stopped what he was doing and turn to face her fully.

"I'm going back home"

Angel walked closer to him and placed her hand on his cheek caressing him softly.

"This is home"

"No Angel, I mean back to my parents. I had a change of heart and now I'm going back and back to school"

"Well you can still see your parents, I'm not gonna stop you but you don't have to pack"

She said as she pulled away and started taking his belongings out of the bag. Tai let out a sigh.

"Angel, listen I'm not breaking up with you if that's what you are worried about"

Angel stopped what she was doing and looked at him with slight concern.

"Then don't leave, stay here with me"

"We will still be together but its just that I need to rebuild with my family"

"But..."

"I'm doing this for me"

He said as he gathered his last things and headed towards the door but Angel ran ahead of him and blocked his path from opening the door. She had tears trailing down her face as she glared at him.

"You are not leaving"

Tai was surprise by her determination.

"This is very selfish of you. I told you since the begining that when I love, I love hard. I told you things that I never told Riki and Cleo and you think I'm just going to let you walk out of here like nothing."

"I'm not leaving you, I told you that"

"Then stay with me damn it"

She said angrily with tears. Tai smiled at her kindly, as he gently caress her face to calm her down. He leaned down and captured her lips into a gentle kiss but Angel forced the kiss harder, deepening the kiss to try and convince him. They soon pulled away panting.

"I just need to leave"

"Why?"

She asked softly.

"I want to get out of the gang"

He said seriously. Angel's eyes open wide.

"You can't be serious. Nobody gets out of Aaron's gang, ever"

"Well I am"

Fear fully consumed Angel as she tried to convince him to stay in the gang.

"He's going to kill you, you already faced his wrath and it took you a whole month to heal. Tai just stay in it please"

"I can't anymore. I am tired okay and I don't want to put my family in danger."

"But Tai"

"Angel this is what I want to do. I'm still going to be with you but my life as a gang is going to stop"

Angel let out a sigh as she wipe her tears, Tai brought her in close for a hug as she laid her head on his chest as she calmed down.

"I'll keep it secret"

"Thank you and you can tell Riki, Cleo, James and Mark because I'm still going to hang out with you guys"

"Okay"

Its been a few days and Tai was back to living with his parents, his grades went back up and he was back to being the soccer star. Tai was currently out hanging with Angel, Riki, Cleo, James and Mark at the parking lot of the beach. They already knew of Tai's plan and were proud of him.

"Let's head to the fun factory"

Cleo said before anyone can agree sounds of motorcycles came around the corner. All the bikers stopped in front of the gang, unfortunately they recognize the bikes. The leader took off his helmet and Tai took a step back as he saw it was Aaron. Aaron looked around with a grin.

"This is a nice place"

"What brings you hear?"

Riki asked.

"So a little bird told me that someone here wants out of the gang"

All eyes open wide. Tai looked to Angel and whispered.

"Did you tell him?"

"Of course not"

"Then how does he know?"

"I told you we have eyes and ears in this city"

"Tai!!"

Aaron shouted from the center of the circle and pointed to him.

"Please step forward"

Tai's eyes open wide before he did what he was told.

"So tell me is it true you want out of the gang?"

Tai swallowed the lump in his throat.

'I better do this now'

He thought.

"Yes"

Angel face palm.

'Now is not the time to be courageous'

Aaron nodded his head.

"Is it because I beat you up in front of my girl there?"

"It has nothing to do with that"

"Then I need a good reason for to let you go, since I am a reasonable man"

Angel casually walked to Riki and Cleo.

"Did any of you say anything?"

She whispered. They shook their heads. Angel then was about to ask Mark and James but Aaron yelled.

"I want a fuckin answer now! I'm not gonna wait all day, Tai!"

Aaron shouted annoyed. Tai swallowed the lump in his throat as he sweat dropped nervously.

"I just want a fresh new start"

"Isn't livng with my girl enough?"

He asked with a grin. All eyes open wide as they wondered how did Aaron knew about that information.

"I-I don't know what you are talking about"

Tai said. Angel looked to Tai nervously.

'Bad move Tai, no one lies to Aaron especially if he already knows the truth'

She thought. Aaron simply grin.

"You think I'm a fool. I have eyes and ears in this city"
