Rakim
Isis really walked away from me. She had every right to be mad at me. I don't know what her life was before me. But she didn't seem happy considering when i did take her from her city back in Harlem, the neighborhood she was in wasn't the best. And being from that neighborhood, I'd know.
When i go on tour, the bus driver always would drive by the diner where she worked because the hood was the quickest way to get back to the fancy part of Harlem. One day, she had walked into her building. That was the first time is seen her.
The building was falling apart on the outside. I could imagine how it was on the inside. But then again, she is in a better place.
"Like that makes it better." I mumbled.
She doesn't even know where she is. Maybe she still thinks that shes in New York.
When i kidnapped her, i drove the van that we was in to a jet that was in a old airport. I paid a pilot to help fly Isis and I to Toronto, Canada. Basically, theres no way shes going to get back to the states.
"OH SHIT!" I heard Tyler yelled. Then I heard a thud. I ran into the kitchen and Isis was laying on the floor with a pale face.
"What the fuck just happened! What y'all do?!" I yelled as i ran over to Isis and picked her up. Her lifeless body was dangling, without any life in it.
"Call Chase and that Doctor that helped us when this happened to Jesse!" I yelled.
Chase was my manager. He handled these problems. Jesse was for another time.
An hour later
Chase arrived with a doctor about an half and hour ago. They took Isis upstairs into my room where the doctor i just learned as Dr. Carter, hooked her up to a tube.
Due to her being locked up and from not eating, she had passed out.
In our house, shit like this happened occasionally. This wasn't the first time i kidnapped a girl and shes passed out.
I kidnapped a girl named Jesse. She was beautiful. Words couldn't describe her beauty. She had freckles out of this world, a light skin complexion and almond shaped brown eyes.
A few months ago, I caught her running out the house to the main road, since we live in a secluded area. We almost got caught. We had to shoot her. That shit hurt me. She stayed with us for a good year and some change. I took her on tour with us and more and she never attempted to make a run for it. She looked like she was running from someone.
Ferg had the idea that it if we shot her, she wouldn't get that far and try to tell. Someone about it felt all weird, but he had a point.
She was 7 months with my child.
But, something was going on with her. She'd come into our room at 5 in the morning. She'd wince in pain when she would sit down and limp through the house. I always just thought it was just her period.
I didn't want to make the same mistake I did with her with Isis. If she run, she'll get disciplined. I don't want it to get to that point, but she already tried it the first time she tried to make a break for it.
I just didn't want to hurt her like i was hurt when i was younger.
"Rakim?" Chase said, snapping me out of my rummaging thoughts. "The doctor just left. We have to give her iron pills and food with high protein. She'll wake up by morning. Shes not to get up, whatsoever. He also said we have to feed her through a tube, just like we did wi-," i quickly snapped my head towards him. The boys knew not to bring her up. She was my first kidnap and love.
"Look, Rocky, why would you kidnap another girl? What didn't you learn for the last time? We cant risk it again. Were you even thinking? Where she com-," I held my hand up to signal for him to stop. He was right. Why did it do it? Did i miss Jesse and needed someone to replace her?
I sighed and put my hands on my face. "Chase, I think I fucked up, man. I felt lonely. Remember when we ended the Mob tour in Atlanta? I seen her come from work and go home. I waited for her to come from work about a week and a half ago and she been going crazy since. She was either passed out or i'd chloroform her." I rubbed my neck in my realization that i was going back to my old habits.
Being as though Chase usually took care of these things, i could trust him. The boys were to scared to kidnap someone. Ferg, on the other hand, had done it more time than me. He's been doing it since back in the Harlem days.
He was more aggressive with his girls though. I'd never address him on it because he been doing it longer. Plus, he never questioned my ways of doing things.
"Rocky, just don't have what happened last time to happen again. We cant risk it. If you need anything, I'm one call away. Stay cozy." He said as he got up, dapped me and headed out the door.
I followed the scent of the food that was coming from the kitchen. The kitchen was empty meaning that the boys finished eating. I made a plate of food that Isis had made earlier, put it in the blender and proceeded up the stairs in the direction of the room all the stuff was hooked up for Isis.
She looked unlike herself.
Damn.
