Beam did not appreciate being dragged out by his collar and pushed Forth (he didn't deserve honorifics) off as soon as they were out of the office setting him the deathliest glare he could manage.

"Oi! Don't give me that look because I just can't take any of your crap."

"What about YOU?!! You've been rude EVER since I came here. If you didn't want me around then why'd you accept my responsibility? HUH? Stop demeaning me, will ya!" Beam was so angry at him that he punctuated it with a push."

Forth grabbed his collar and pushed him against the wall, "Hey! Don't get so cocky unless you want to be thrown out into the streets."

Suddenly the door opened and headmistress  peered out of it, "What's the commotion out here?"

Suddenly he was enveloped in Forth's arms , "Nothing just the usual goodbye's" He heard from above him followed by a nervous giggle as the grip around his waist dug into his skin.

"How sweet but send him to class soon or else he'll be late"

"okay."

The door clicked closed and Beam immediately pushed him off.

"What's wrong with you, you brat! You make me late for work and suddenly you get all violent?"

"You're taking care of your boss's SON, you should get brownie points for it! He won't care if you're late"

Forth snorted, "I KNOW your father, he might not be able to distinguish angel hair from spaghetti but that restaurant means EVERYTHING to him. I pretty sure he values it more than YOU! In fact he pushed you out into some farm for most of you pathetic life, didn't he? And now that you're back you're pushed onto ME! If you ask me, you're just a burden on him and by the way things are going I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND!!" Forth spat out.

That really cut into him because of how close to home Forth had struck and for a while Beam was dumbstruck, "I need to go to class." His voice shook for a second before he sped off leaving a very shocked and maybe just a little guilty Forth behind.

Once he found his class almost 30 minutes late he scurried inside. The teacher was highly annoyed but left him with a warning, introducing him to the class unwillingly, not pleased at having to take off time from his scarce period minutes.

He appointed someone called Mongkol Intochar (Kit) to show him around school. Beam guessed he was some hi-fi student as this Kit lifted his head from where it was buried inside a book, pushed up his glasses and bowed politely before burying himself in the book once again.

Beam sat down and really tried to enjoy his time here. By the time the class ended he had managed to learn a few things, he started feeling like part of the class and his mood brightened up a little until Kit walked over.

"You must have been given a brochure at the principal's office. Open it. It has a map of the school grounds." Kit pushed up his glasses and promptly left without a second glance.

Great. Were people generally that hostile? Was it a mistake wanting to come back here? Beam thought dully as he trudged outside the school. He couldn't believe he had to deal with a hard time in school and out of it too.

Beam failed to notice in his depressed thoughts that he had taken a wrong turn. By the time he realized it...he was lost.

In another part of Bangkok, Lam - the designated appetizer cum food dresser of Chocomallow was doing one of his lesser passionate chores. Mopping the kitchen with a broom. Why did he have to lose at scissor, paper, stone game again? Why oh why? He sighed.
