Mornings were always a pain. Especially second Saturdays when he had work. Forth scrunched up his face at the sunlight streaming through the window. His cheek felt warm and he turned on his pillow, burrowing deeper into the covers.

Something felt odd.

Very odd indeed.

He pulled the covers down and was surprised by the weight next to him. He turned slowly to find Beam, snuggled next to him and sleeping with a peaceful frown on his face.

Forth get up and shifted backwards, taking the comforter with him. Gulping, he looked at the younger as Beam instinctively reached for the blanket and upon not finding it, rolled towards Forth. Indignant, Forth moved back further but Beam rolled to him again, latching on to him persistently.

Forth placed a hand on his chest, trying to soothe his heart.

"I-it's alright," he told himself. "Don't panic. It's not like he meant to do that. And it's just Beam anyway... right?"

Beam frowned and having commandeered Forth's pillow, sunk his head deeper into it.

Annoyed as hell, Forth brought a hand up gingerly and... poked his cheek.

"Oi."

"Mmmrrmm," was the articulate response.

"Go back to your own mattress."

"Mmm..." Beam trailed in his sleep, eyes moving under closed lids.

Fort sighed and patted his messy hair in defeat.
For all the tossing and turning and restlessness, last night he had a good dreamless peaceful sleep; Warm and comfortable and safe and all those things that a good night's rest accounts for.

He slowly cracked one eye open but it was still dark and the soft material of the pyjama top was soft against his cheek and so he snuggled into it, tightening his hold around the lump of warmth beside him as the lump did the same drawing slow circles on his back.

Unfortunately it was slowly dawning on the half asleep Beam where exactly he was and what the warm lump was. But he kept his eyes close not wanting to face it and not wanting to end it because he knew Forth would move away as soon as he realized Beam was awake.

But as comfortable as he was he couldn't give up the chance of catching the guy red-handed.

"Good Morning." He mumbled into Forth's neck and as he had expected Forth had immediately jerked away or would have if not for Beam's grip around him.

Beam waited patiently till Forth relaxed again. However Forth had not wrapped his arms around him like before, Beam noted.

"How was your sleep?"

"Not good."

"Why?"

"Bed was too cramped."

Beam had to chuckle at that.

"Beamie, I lay the mattress for you...or you can always sleep on the couch or the kitchen table for all that matters. Yet now you're in my bed. Three places to sleep are too much for one person!" Forth said poking the side of his stomach.

Beam giggled, "It's lonely, Phi'Forth!" For all it was worth so did Forth.

He flicked Beam's forehead, "You intrude personal space!" But there was no anger in the words.

Beam finally moved away, releasing Forth from his grip and sat up straight.

"Does it bother you when I do that?" He said in a bare whisper fiddling with the sheets.
Forth looked up at him, quietly searching for the right words to say.
