Trapped... have you ever felt that way? Caged and contained. Sadly that's how I feel at this moment. They had found me. Honestly it was my stupid mistake. Being reckless and kind... my weaknesses always getting the best of me.

"Eros were is Alpha Nixs?! We found the Wanderer!" I jerked my head up at the burly man who was digging his nails into my freckled skin. How I wish I could headbutt him! Though they all knew me far to well to make this easy. Two other members of their pack were also holding me.

They stopped dragging me as Eros appeared from behind his cabin. I shifted my eyes to look at him. Shock quickly spread across his face. Though he masked it within seconds.

"You guys can let her go. She'll be fine with me." Two of the men holding me let go obeying him immediately. Though nail digger still had a tight grip. I could feel the light trickle of blood flow down my lightly tanned skin. "Arik let her go!" I could hear the light growl in Eros's voice. A slight smile pricking at the edge of my lips.

"No offense princey but I'd rather wait for my Alpha." I could feel Arik go tense . I didn't like how this man was acting. My wolf could sense something was off.

Eros took a few steps towards us. He never took his eyes of Arik. "You are talking to your future Alpha." He took a few more steps closer. "I'll ask you one more time. Let go of her." He said it with such confidence and power that even my wolf wanted to back down.

Though that could also be because I was somewhat connected to him. Just thinking about that made heat rise in my cheeks.

"Do as he says boy!" My mind snapped back into focus as the Alpha walked out from the shadows. His hair had greyed since the last time I saw him. His eyes showed years of work and wisdom but now they also held a hint of tiredness to them. His broad shoulders blocked the sun from my face. "It's nice to see you again Emberly." I felt my skin prick up. The way he said my name made me feel like no good was to come.

The only good thing at this moment was the fact that Arik had let go. I quickly shoved him a few more steps away from me. Growling as I saw the deep gashes in my arm.

"Eros take Emberly inside and get her cleaned up. I'll come speak to her in a moment." Alpha Nixs said motioning for the three men who had captured me to follow him.

I watched as the three men smugly walked passed me with lustful glances. It took everything I had in me not to let my wolf take over. Nixs would have my head. He only tolerated me because of the promise he made to my mother.

A light brush across my wound brought me back from my thoughts. It was Eros. He was already assessing the wound. I smiled slightly. He was so kind. So different from all the other men I knew.

He glanced up his eyes taking me all in. "It's good to see you again Eb." My heart jumped at the nickname. I hadn't heard that in a long time. It was usually just Em or Emberly. Only he called me Eb.

"I wish it didn't have to be under these circumstances." His eyes glinted with a slight sadness. I was about to ask what he meant but he motioned me to follow him into the cabin.

I followed into his house. The only place I felt safe. His home had been a safe haven when my mother was alive. I was never meant to be bound to one place. Though when she fell ill I had to come back. An Eros had been my steady hand through it all. I smiled as the smell of pine filled my nose. I took another deep breath. Closing my eyes and taking in the fimiliar smell.

"You look beautiful when your like that." He mused out loud. My eyes popped open to see a slight blush creep across his cheek bones.

"Wow Eros you must have missed me. Being so blunt was never your specialty." I watched him as I walked over to the table. His house was always filled with herbs and medical supplies. I scanned the tables content as he shuffled through some of them.
