11.Spring Part 6

1 month later

It had been one month and two weeks since Dean and I almost became real mates. We learned that if we kept ourselves away from each other it made it hard to stay in control. So we definitely kissed a lot more and sharing a bed had become my new favorite thing.

Sadly Dean had to be gone a lot because of Leo. There was definitely something off and you could tell it pointed back to his baby brother. A few of the villagers had gone missing. Dean suspected it was Leo forming a new pack. Though he couldn't seem to catch him doing so.

It had been a week since he'd been home. Trent stopped by to let me know that Dean would be home tonight. Which was perfect because I had invited Alpha Scott and Luna Lina over.

I had only met her once and it was brief. She was a kind women with green eyes and white long hair. The wrinkles around her eyes and mouth were worn from smiling so much. She had a kind nature about her and it confused me how her and Alpha Scott could have a son like Leo.

I shook my head trying to focus on the pie I was making. It was a raspberry pie that Alpha Scott had told me was his favorite. I had visited Alpha Scott a lot in the passed month. He had showed me the names of all the Sêr Clan. There was over 400 of them. Mikah who was Lina's cousin and Aiden's father had made sure that no one could completely whip away the Sêr Clan memory.

Mikah had been an amazing artist because the book was filled with beautiful people. They also had freckle like star patterns on their body. Though Alpha Scott and I noticed that none of them were as covered as I was. He told me he assumed it was the Moon Goddesses way of showing her people may be gone from this world but not forgotten. So each mark across my body was a remembrance of the 400 Sêr Clan.

"Hello?" Lina's voice calls from the front door. I quickly popped the pie into the oven and set the timer.

"Emberly are you here?" Alpha Scotts voice boomed. He was doing much better but if he worked to hard he'd end up in a coughing fit. So Dean stayed in charge.

"Sorry I was just putting something in the oven. It's so good to see you. " I say as I enter into the mud room. Lina embraces me as a smile lights up her face.

"I'm so glad I could make it. I've been dying to get to finally talk to you." Her cheery attitude is contagious.

I lead them into the living room. Alpha Scott scans the room before sitting down. "You can definitely tell a women lives here now." He chuckles as he makes himself comfy.

"He's probably just saying that because it smells so good in here. What are you making? " Lina's arm is still wrapped around my waist.

"Oh it's probably the pie. Alpha Scott I finally got around to making that raspberry pie recipe." I watch as his face lights up.

"Man I really hope my sons lucky enough to have you as a wife." I feel myself blush at the thought. Dean and I had discussed how much longer I could stay. We had one month left but our bond was becoming hard to ignore. With Dean being gone a lot the time we had together was always intense.

"Honey your making the poor girl blush!" Lina chides him giving me a light squeeze.

I can hear the front door open and instantly knew it was Dean. As our connection grew strong I could smell the minty scent of him. Even if I couldn't see him if he was close I could detect his scent.

"Emberly what are you making it smells amazing." His voice sounds tired but I can tell he's excited to be home. "Emberly? " He calls out. It is unusual that I'm not right there at the door to greet him. I excuse myself and head toward the mud room.
