Swings

"Jimin, Jiminie! Can we go to the park?"

You really were like a young child you know?

Youthful, playful, dorky.

You'd been through so many hard things though

I guess that's something that made you mature

You knew a lot actually

I always loved you being childish though

"Sure!"

I remember skipping along with you

On the sidewalks and streets

Sometimes the road

The grass too

Everywhere.

I was with you.

When we reached the park you darted right for the swings

And started swinging

High

High

Then higher.

You smiled brightly

Brighter than the sun

And swung as free as a bird gliding through the sky

Letting your hair swing around with you

After a few minutes of just watching you  I decided to hop on a swing too

I swung right up next to you.

"Jimin! We're married!"

I looked to see we were swinging in sync

"I guess we are haha!"

You held your handout for me to take

So we could swing along together

As a happy "married couple"
