Chapter 13

NOW

The door barges open when I'm lazing around in my room, it was the day before my birthday, how has it been a year already? Time does fly.

"Who is it?" I ask drowsily, I was laying on the bed with my eyes closed, "if it's a thief I literally have nothing here, but Changbin my roommate is rich, you can take whatever he owns, but if you're a murderer please kill me right now" I sigh

"the fuck Felix?" I hear a familiar voice, I open my eyes to see Changbin.

"oh hi bingChang, Binnie whatever I'm sleepy go away"

"Boy you gotta wake up" Changbin says walking towards me, "and why are you on my bed?"

"I don't know I tripped and fell on it and I was too lazy to get up" I sigh

I could see him rolling his eyes from the corner of my eye.
"i need you to get up and sit here now"

I look at him and sigh again, "why?"

"important stuff"

"how important between 0 to getting my ex back"

"A-uh, wait what?"

I am fully awake and sat straight when I realize what I had blabbered, "nothing" I Iaugh nervously, "what's up?"

"Uhm" he eyes me suspiciously, "okay"

"Yeah?"

"Okay so!" he continues enthusiastically, "Mr. Lee loved the SONG"

"What song? Who's Mr. Lee?" I ask rubbing my eyes

"GLOW FELIX GLOW" he says shaking me by my shoulder.

"oh"

OH

"He absolutely loved it and told I had a creative future in producing!"

"Oh my god" I say widening my eyes, "CONGRATS" I almost yell

"he said to meet him after classes and that" he looks at his phone, to see the time I presume, "is in a few minutes"

"Why are you here then? Damn go get your praises" I push him out of the bed giggling.

"Yeah yeah, I just came to tell this to you, thank you man" he says smiling, I can hear the gratefulness.

"Aish, it's nothing, I was just helping a friend in trouble" I grin, "now go" I say getting up and approaching him.

Suddenly, he grabs my hand and pulls me into an embrace, my breathe hitches at the sudden action, he hugged me tightly, his cheeks squished at the side of my head, he then turns his face, his lips just a few centimeters away from my ear and whispers, "thank you, I mean it"

We pull away after a few seconds and I nod at him, my hand brushes off the hair that fell on his face unconsciously, "go Binnie go" I giggle and pat his back.

He smiles widely, the kind of smile that you can't help but melt into, "bye"

"Do you think it's easy to fall out of love?" I ask Minho, we were out for dinner the same night, Chan and Changbin said they'll join us later.
He looks like he was caught off-guard so I quickly add a "I'm sorry it's so random" and cough softly.

"Possibly" He says in a few seconds after recollecting himself, "honestly, it depends on how much a person means to you"

I sigh and look down, playing with the spoon on the table, thinking of all the times Hyunjin has said he loves me, was it a lie? something he used to say just to make me feel good? were we not meant to be? or did I have way too many hopes?

I'm pulled out of my thoughts when Minho calls my name, I look up at him startled
"anything bothering you?"

I bite my lips, shake my head and smile.

"You know" he says reaching out to hold my hand across the table, "I know we barely know each other closely, it's just dance class acquaintance but, you can open up to me, anyday, alright? I'm always here to listen to you" he finishes squeezing my hand assuringly.

I smile a bit wider and look at our hands, "Thank you" I say audible enough for him to hear, "but I don't think I'm in the mood to open up patched wounds for now, atleast not today"
He nods understandingly and smiles back

"stay strong, love" he says untangling our hands and flashing his famous toothy grin.

"Oh here they are" I hear Minho say and before I could react, I hear a "OI FELIX"
I turn to see Chan and Changbin approaching us grinning widely.

I can't help but break into a smile myself as Changbin slides in next to me whispering a small 'hi'
Chan settles down next to his boyfriend and gives him a kiss on the cheek, "sorry we're late babe, but you gotta hear this amazing song Changbin made, it's GOOD"

Changbin winks at me and I giggle, hard work is definitely appreciated.
"Oh? i've gotta listen to this song of yours then Binnie" Minho chuckles

"After dinner after dinner, I'm super hungry right now" Changbin says already calling the waiter.

Life is good I guess.
