"Logan! Why won't you play Hamilton!?"

"Because you're the only one that wants to listen to it, and I'm driving," the stoic man replied without missing a beat as he looked at Roman through the rear view mirror. "The driver makes the decision on what's played in the car. If you want to listen to something else you should've brought headphones."

He huffed, slumping against the backseat as he grumbled about how he'd let Patton pick out the music anyway. The cardigan wearing man in the passenger seat was moving his head to the beat with a smile on his face that he had to admit would be hard to say no to. Logan was smiling at his date's joy so obviously he was surprised that his best friend hadn't noticed.

Roman pouted as he stared out the window, wanting to listen to something other than the lighthearted indie music the baker preferred. He loved show tunes, being a natural actor with an active imagination.

"Hey," Virgil tapped his shoulder, making him jump as he looked at his date. The darkly dressed man always had his earbuds with him, and was offering him one of them with a shy smile. "It's not Hamilton, but it's an alternative to this indie stuff."

He smiled at the gesture and took the earbud from him. "What is it?" he asked as he put it into his ear and scooted closer to him to look at his phone.

"Panic! At The Disco," Virgil replied, lips curling into a smile as he hit resume on the playlist he'd been listening to. The princely man's eyes widened as music suddenly filled his ear. The song had a strong beat and sounded distinctly inspired by the 1920's with its use of horns. He looked at his phone, reading the song's title in his head. It was Roaring 20's off of Panic! At The Disco's most recent album, Pray For The Wicked. As Roman fell into the feel of the song, his date smiled. "You like it?"

He nodded with a bright smile in his direction. "This isn't what I expected Panic! to sound like if I'm honest," he told him as he looked back down at his phone.

"Well, you've got good reason not to know what to expect from this band," the darkly dressed man reassured with a chuckle. "One moment it sounds like this and then the next song is a campfire folk song about memories of summer. After that, it's a techno song about a casual affair, then an trip-hop cabaret dance punk song about a strip club, then a Sinatra style song about getting married. It's a constant guess when it comes to what style of song you'll land on if you choose a Panic! playlist like this."

Roman grinned at the way his date's eyes had lit up upon starting to discuss this topic. "You're adorable when you get excited," he told him, pecking his cheek before leaning his head on his shoulder.

Virgil blushed, glancing down at the boy's head laying on him before resting his own on top of it in contentment. The baker in the passenger seat looked back at the pair, smiling at the cuteness of the scene. "They're so precious together," he said quietly so he wouldn't get their attention. "I'm so glad he asked Roman out; he was way too scared to do it himself."

"Were you too scared to ask me out?" Logan asked him with a slight smirk in his direction.

This made him flush as he giggled a little. "Yes, I was," he admitted honestly as he reached over to find his hand and pull it into his lap.

The action made both of them blush a little, but they shared smiles for a moment before the necktie wearing man turned his gaze back to the road. They'd been driving for about two hours and only had thirty minutes or so left on their mini road trip to Orlando. Roman had expressed wanting to take Virgil to Disney World, and the idea seemed pleasant to Logan, who asked if they'd mind if he and Patton traveled with him. This was how they'd ended up on their way to Walt Disney World for their first official double date now that the two couples were going out with one another. The label of boyfriend had yet to arise in either pair, but they expected after a couple more dates they'd make their relationships official.

Forty-five minutes later, the four of them were walking up to the front gate of the Magic Kingdom. Patton was bouncing around giddily while Roman started singing a medley of Disney tunes.

"I'm home!" he exclaimed after a bit of singing, grinning as he looked down main street to see Cinderella's castle in the distance. "Come on! We've got to ride as many things as possible!"

He grabbed Virgil's hand and was about to race down the street when Logan stepped in front of him. "Whoa now Roman, if you want to ride as many things as possible, you've got to go about it logically," he told him as he more calmly took his date's hand.  "And besides, this is a double date, the four of us are supposed to go around together. What area of the park does everyone want to go through first?"

"I'd like to go to Frontierland!" Patton answered, beaming. "Thunder Mountain is my favorite ride from childhood!"

The princely man let out a huff and a whine. "But Fantasyland!" he complained.

"I like Thunder Mountain," Virgil said softly, smiling hopefully at his date. He turned to him in surprise and upon seeing his face gave in, saying that they could go there first begrudgingly. With a small giggle, the darkly dressed man leaned over to kiss him on the cheek. "Thank you, Ro!"

He blushed, smiling as they headed in that direction, holding hands. It didn't take too long to get there, and the line was surprisingly short. The two pairs each got into one of the cars, smiling at each other as the ride started. Once they started going uphill however, Virgil's face paled.

"Oh shit, I forgot about this part," he said shakily. Roman looked at him in concern, taking his hand as he silently asked what was wrong. "This part's really loud-"

He couldn't even finish his sentence before the track started making deafening amounts of noise that made him flinch. His date scooted closer to him, pulling his head to his chest. Virgil focused on his heartbeat, calming down as the princely man leaned to murmur into his exposed ear that he was okay and that he was right there for him. Once they reached the top, he pulled away to let him know he was fine now, smiling gratefully before gasping as they went down the hill. The rest of the ride went smoothly and all four of them were smiling as they got off.

"That was so much fun!" Patton exclaimed as they continued around Frontierland.

"Yes, it was quite enjoyable," Logan replied, smiling a little. They passed a food stand, making him pause. "Would you like to share a soft pretzel, Patton?"

The baker grinned, nodding happily as they walked toward the food stand. Roman and Virgil hung back, waiting for them. "Thank you, for what you did back there," the darkly dressed man said, smiling a little as he looked up from his feet to his date. "I really appreciate it. I forgot about how loud that part is."

"Hey, my pleasure," Roman said, leaning in to press a kiss to his cheek. This made him flush, but smile even wider.

A moment later Patton and Logan were walking back to them with a soft pretzel. The baker was giggling happily as he tore a piece off, biting into it as they continued their walk from Frontierland to Adventureland. Virgil let out an excited gasp as they reached the Pirates of the Caribbean ride.

"Can we please go on Pirates? It's only a ten minute wait, that's ridiculously low for Pirates," he asked, eyes wide as he looked at his date pleadingly.

As much as Roman wanted to go to Fantasyland, he couldn't say no to that face. "Of course, Virgil, we're here for all four of us to have a good time," he said as they turned to enter the ride.

Within ten minutes they were seated in a row of one of the boats, a very happy Virgil next to Roman, Patton next to him, and Logan on the baker's other side. The darkly dressed man loved The Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and the ride was cool, dark, and full of one of his favorite fictional things: pirates. He couldn't describe why he liked them so much, he just did.

"You know," Roman murmured to him as they sailed through the fight scene between the fort and the massive pirate ship. "In some alternate reality, you'd be a pirate. The most feared pirate in all the ocean."

Virgil smirk at him before replying. "You're right, and you'd be a handsome prince. I'd kidnap you to get your gold or something and you'd fall for my entrancing eyes."

He laughed at this, scooting closer to him in the process. "I don't think it would only be your eyes I'd fall for," he said quietly as he laced their fingers together. They shared smiles as the ride continued.
