Chapter 7: Xiumin meets Demi

Olivia's POV:

We drove to a small apartment where there was a lot of ghoulies lurking around. We got out of the car and I spelled it with a protection spell so that no one would be able to break into my car.

"So where is this Demi supposed to be " Xiumin said way too loud, Izzy teleported and put her hand over his mouth.

"Listen Demi is a serpent undercover as a ghoulie. So keep your muzzle shut" she said as he nodded his head. We did a spell that allowed us to be undetected by ghoulies and walked into her apartment.

"Demi you home?" I yelled out, Xiumin then pushed us to the floor as a knife was hurled in our direction.

"What the hell, Demi you could have killed us?!?!?" Izzy started yelling in anger as Xiumin helped me to my feet. Izzy started walking around the apartment screaming out to Demi knowing she could hear us.

"Thanks for that" I said to him, he smiled and scratched the back of his neck.

"It's no big deal, you know heightened hearing and all" he said as he pointed to his ears.

"Demi get your sorry ass out here before I kill you myself" Izzy then opened her hands and chanted a few words. In seconds Demi was in front of us, she had her reading glasses on and her lab coat draped on her shoulders.

"Fucking dammit Isabelle Elizabeth Lightwood, I was in the middle of experimenting" she said as she came up to us and hit Iz on her head. She held two tubes of slime looking substances.

"Excuse me if you just listened to the letter we sent via fire you would know we were on our way" Iz said as she rubbed her head.

"Mate" I looked to see Xiumin who was staring, scratch that he was gawking at Demi.

"Who's he?" she jabbed her thumb to Xiumin direction, I snapped my fingers and he was back to normal but still stared at Demi. I blinked twice to activate my second sight and saw that his aura was pink. I looked to Demi and saw hers was the same. AHHH they are mates.

"My name is Xiumin, it's very nice to meet you" he said holding out his hand, she shook it and then smiled at him.

"You have a beautiful smile" he then blushed a deeper red as she made that comment.

"Name is Demi Lodge, 2nd daughter of the one and only Hiram and Hermione Lodge, younger sister of Veronica Lodge. And yes I'm a serpent" she said as she mixed together two tubes of green and blue together.

"I bet you are here because of that stupid drag re-race Malachai is going on about?" she said as she walked back to her lab, we followed her.

"Well of course. Damn Demi you gotta get out more" Izzy said as she bent her head down as a tube was hanging from the ceiling.

"Yea well it's' hard when you have to deal with jackasses over on this side" she says as she drops a few liquid drops into a beaker. It turns from green to a bright purple, she swirls it around and then hands it to Izzy.

"Drink up please and tell me what you feel" she says getting out her notepad.

"Hell no last time you made me drink something out of a test tube. I had green colored skin, I looked like fucking Gamora cosplay" Izzy says handing it to Xiumin who smiles lovingly to Demi.

"Okay wolf boy, drink up" she says tilting the tube so that he can drink it all up. After a while he starts to cough and then wings pop up from his back. Demi stares and then writes a whole bunch of stuff on her notepad.

"What the hell, I have wings?!" Xiumin says going in a circle with the wings. Demi then chants a few words and the wings are gone.

"Studying about the supernatural again?" I smiled at her, she was gonna answer when Xiumin put his hand over her mouth.

"No one say a word" we then hear creaking and then a loud knock.

"Clary we know you are in there, Malachai wants to see you" we heard a loud gruff noise from outside, then the door was smashed to bits. A giant ghoulie was standing in front of us, he then walked towards us as his head hit the tube from the ceiling. It smashed to the floor, Demi cried a bit.

"Oh look serpents how lovely but right now Malachai wants to see Clary" he then walks to her and grabs her arm. She tries to pull away but he holds her arm with a tight grip.

"Aye, let the poor girl go" Xiumin said as he blocked the way.

"I don't take orders from little boys" he said as he collided his body with Xiumin but Xiumin didn't move and swung his fist into the ghoulies' face.

"Come on let's get out of here" he said as we ran to the car. Demi ran back inside, shit her lab. We ran after her and she started to chant, she was trying to put it in her portal storage but her magic power was dropping. I took her hand as did Izzy and we sent all of her stuff into the portal, we ran to the front door where Xiumin was waiting for. We were so close until the ghoulie was back on his feet.

"Not so fast I think Malachai would be pleased to have you back in his grasp" he said as he walked closer to us.

"And you, well you will do great staying with me forever" he laughed but then screamed as a wolf was biting his ankle.

"RUN" I screamed as Xiumin let go and ran with us. We got into the car and drove away all the way back to my house.

"Wow thanks for saving me... Um you said something to me before, when we first me. What did you say?" Demi asked him, he started to blush and look the other way.

"I called you my mate, every wolf gets blessed by the moon goddess to have a soul mate, you are mine... That is if you want to be mine?" she smiled and gave him a kiss.

"I would love to be" he smiled as he continued to kiss her.

"Adorable and all but can you two not have sex in my back seat" I said as their kissing got a little intense.

"Sorry Ollie" Demi said as she fixed her glasses.
