Chapter 9: Kai meets Sasha

Suho's POV:

"Yes I will come right away" I hung up the home phone as I sighed loud. Kris then walked into the kitchen and grabbed an apple.

"What's wrong?" He asked as he took a big bite out of the apple, the juices squirting everywhere. I took my towel that was on my shoulder and wiped the counters clean.

"I just got a call from the principal, Kai just got into a school fight and a young girl got hit. I need to go and pick him up, he might be suspended for this" I said as I took the keys to the van.

"Hey are we gonna talk about what happened last night" Kris said to me when I was halfway towards the door, my hand stayed on the knob. I then put my head down, not knowing how to respond.

"The moon goddess blessed you with a mate, that's something you should be happy about. I don't understand why do you look so unhappy about it." I shook my shoulders.

"It's because it's Isabelle. She looks like she hates anything to do with us, wolves. How the hell is she supposed to love me back nonetheless be my mate if she hates who I am?!!" I shouted as I sat on the floor.

"Well no one said that love was going to be easy" he said as he sat next to me. He was right love is never easy, look at poor Lay being blinded by his hatred of witches just because of that wench. Everyone can tell that his mate is that witch from the serpents. I got up from the floor and opened the door all the way, I then looked back at Kris who got up as well.

"Look maybe later you can talk to her when you get back. Maybe try to get to know her one on one? Show her that you're different" he said making me smile, just the thought of being near her made my heart skip a beat.

"Okay, that sounds amazing actually. Now let me go and get that trouble making pup" I said as I walked out the house.

--Time Skip--

"Now because of what Mr. Kai did, fighting in the middle of the hallway and then hurting a young girl in the process. I would usually expell you but since Mr. Andrews did say some vulgar slurs at you then provoked you in such a manner and with Ms. Andrews testimony that Archie indeed started the fight. I will only suspend you for a week, but if this behavior happens again I will have to expel you" Mr. Weatherbee said as he sat behind his desk. I was sitting next to Kai who was only looking out the window, I looked at where he was staring at. It was a beautiful redhead girl being treated with tissues.

"Mr. Kai, did you hear what I just said" Kai snapped out of it and looked back at Mr. Weatherbee. He nodded his head and then we were dismissed from his office.

"Thank you Mr. Weatherbee I promise this kind of behavior won't ever happen again. I will make sure of it" I said to the principle.

"You make sure of it, this whole town maybe a disarray. But this is my school and I'll be a monkey's uncle if I ever let that happen" he said as he straightened his blazer. We then walked away from his office onto the outside courtyard.

"Kai what the hell! Why would you start a fight?" I scolded him as we were out of earshot. He just ruffled his hair and sniffed the air.

"She's here" he mumbled out. Who's here?

"Yah! Kai I'm talking to you. Kris and I have to punish you while you're on your suspension" I said as he walked away from me. I followed him but he walked away in a fast pace. I finally caught up to him to see him talking to a girl with red hair. I used my wolf hearing to hear their conversation.

"I'm so sorry that I hit you. I didn't mean to at all" he said as he bowed.

"So you meant to hit my older brother instead?" She asked with an angry pout on her face. Kai instantly flushed and shook his head.
