Chapter 13: Malachai's Offer

Kris's POV:

After that race, seeing how those serpents handled the rivalry business was impressive. I saw how that ghoulies looked at me, Olivia explained that he was the leader.

"Kris is everything ok?" Suho said to me snapping me out of train of thought.

"Everything is fine" I said to him. He nodded and got most of our pack in the van.

"Hey you asian boy" I turned around to see the leader Malachai walk up to me.

"What do you want?" I said to him. He chuckled at me as I looked him up and down.

"Relax boy, all I want to do is talk with you before we have to leave this disgusting town" he said as he looked around. His eyes stopped on Olivia who was talking to her girls. Many of them stared back at him with hostilely and anger.

"What do you want to talk about?" I asked him. He laughed and wrapped his arm around my neck.

"I like you. You are like super strict. I need that, come and let's talk. I got a proposition to offer to you" He said. I looked back at Suho who looked worried shit less.

"Sure" I said. He smiled this big evil grin but at this time I couldn't care. I had hunters tracking my pack and this guy looks like he can help us out better than those serpents.

"Kris what do you think you are doing?!!" Suho said and as Luhan and Xiumin stood behind him.

"I'm doing what an alpha does, makes sure his pack is safe" I said pulling my shoulder from his grip. I strutted off to where the ghoulies were sitting. I got in the car with that Malachai fellow and he gutted the engine hard. With that we were off.

Just allow the pups to go back. Have Kyungsoo watch them. You three follow me -Kris

—Time Skip—

We were in his home, the house of dead I think that's what he called it when we walked in. It was dark and a red light was looming around the rooms.

"So, my good asian man. I would like you to be my enforcer. With your skills, yes I've seen what you can do my little wolf boy" he laughed out loud. I looked to see the others all uncomfortable. This man knew about how we were werewolves.

"You know about us?" Luhan said almost a whisper.

"Of course I know you are wolves. What you think I would just not know my new neighbors/ allies are werewolves?" He said as he clapped his hands a young girl came by to him. She had teeth marks all over her body and she seemed so weak and fragile.

"Doll why don't you make yourself useful and make me a drink?" He said as he handed her a knife.

"What are you crazy?!" Suho said as he jumped to grab the knife away but the young girl took it and sliced her whole arm open. Blood was soon pouring from her wrist to her elbow at a tremendous speed. She then brought a wineglass and held it to her arm. The blood gushed in the glass staining it with red blotches.

"A toast to us being new comrades" he said as he pushed the girl away, she fell to the floor with a loud thump. The boys and I stared at her lifeless body, horrified to see how this guy really is.

"What, don't tell me a little bit of blood is gonna make you dogs run back with your tails tucked in?" he said with a sadistic chuckle.

"What the hell, that girl. Why would you kill her" Xiumin yelled out as Luhan held him back.

"She's nothing but my afternoon meal. Haven't you picked up on it yet boys... we're vampires" he said with a smirk now revealing his fangs to us.

"Holy.. fucking... shit" the boys all mumbled out.

"Yes I know the whole fangs and burning into the sun bullshit. But hey immortal life is something I can't pass up and trust me the whole weird blood drinking you get used to" he said as he drank the rest of the blood and then threw the wine glass on the dead girl's body. Shards of glass embedded into her flesh. A big man walked in and picked the girl up and just threw her out the window that was open. You could hear her body make contact with the ground, all her bones cracked loudly.

"Now to business, Wolf boy..." he pointed out to me.

"It's Kris" I grumbled out.

"Yes yes, Kris. Now we want you to be the enforcer of the ghoulies. I have seen you, you're strong and you can just shift and keep those stupid witches at bay for us. And yes I know they are witches, miss Claudia Knight is a fucking stake in my ass" he said as he walked over to me. I was sat in front of a giant table and he was in some kind of throne like chair, like he was the king.

"Well.. what do you say, leave this ridiculously kind of life to rise as someone with more power" he said handing out his hand for me to shake. I scoffed at him and pushed away his hand.

"I'll never align myself with you, I'm the alpha of the EXO pack. And I would never abandon my pack for just a higher place in power" I said trying to believe my own words. I did want to have a higher amount of authority and power, but I did love my pack. The boys are my family and I love them so much despite them annoying me to no end.

"Yea, Kris would never abandon us" Suho said as the Luhan and Xiumin backed him up growling towards the other ghoulies that surrounded us.

"Okay, well if you change your minds. All you have to do for me... is kill Olivia Knight" he said with a manic laugh coming out of his body. Kill... as in take their life out of them. No way I would never kill someone even Olivia she is an ally to us.

"That's stupid even with the amount of power you are offering, Kris would never hurt someone close to us" Xiumin said as he now wanted to leave the room.

"Let's get out of here" Luhan said taking Xiumin and leading him out of the house of the dead.

"My offer still stands, side with us and you will have access to an unlimited amount of power" he said as Suho pulled me away from them.
