Chapter 36: Chen's Mate

Chen's POV:

I was currently bored on the couch with just waiting for something exciting to happen. The girls left to go make that deal with the ghoulies, some of them are still around. So are the guys as only Chanyeol, Luhan, and Xiumin only went to go with the girls. It's been boring the past couple of days, yeah Kai, Sehun, and Lay found their mates and all. Jinhee from home is back with revenge and all that stuff, but nothing has happened to me. Everyone has found their mate but not me, and I'm pretty cool to be honest. Where could my mate be, like I know not everyone gets a mate, but everyone in my pack has gotten someone.

"Chen... Why are you hanging upside down? You're a wolf not a vampire bat" I looked up to see Dylan staring at me, she was upside down since I was upside down on the couch. I adjusted myself rightside up, and smiled at her.

"I'm just thinking... of a new prank, it's boring around here" I said as I was just about to tell her how I wanted a mate like all the other boys. Before I could add more, she plopped herself next to me and started to think.

"I think maybe fear prank?" She said as she looked at me, her smile made me feel all warm inside.

"Fear...Prank" I said slowly as she nodded and then pulled up her phone. She showed me her photos, there were videos of her recording pranks on her friends or the villagers of riverdale.

"So.. What are your brothers scared of that we could use against them?" she asked me. Her eyes were so beautiful, as her hair was so soft looking, and she smelled like vanilla. She then lightly slapped my face, I felt a spark as her hand connected to my face and it wasn't because she hit me. I've read about this with Suho once when I was bored, you get this feeling when you are around your mate and then your inner wolf would tell you if he/ or she was your mate. But that is silly because my inner wolf isn't talking and it could have just been because she hit me...

"Yo, are you still here?" Dylan yelled as she snapped and clapped in my face. I shook my head and she looked at me for an answer.

"Sorry I was just thinking, what was the question again?" I said as she just facepalmed.

"What is your members' fears" she said as she looked at me.

"Well for one Tao is afraid of bugs, ghosts, anything scary honestly. Then you have Xiumin and Lay who are afraid of birds.." I said as she started to laugh really loud.

"B-B-Birds.. Hahaha why birds?" She asked as she tried to hold her laughing in. I laughed to as she was holding her hand over her mouth.

"Well they really are pigeons, the pigeons in Korea can be sometimes a bit more aggressive than those here in the states. The pigeons in korea will fly up to you and may peck your eyes out." I tried to explain to her but she just laughed even more.

"Okay who else?" I thought to myself when we were training a bit on our music, our manager made us do some fear stuff.

"Chanyeol is a big scaredy cat, like he gets scared from firecrackers, loud noises, anything really. Baekhyun is sometimes afraid of heights, same with Kris" I said snapping my fingers together.

"But isn't Kris's power flight?" She asked with her brows knitted together.

"Yes, but say if we put him somewhere in like a ferris wheel where he could fall, that scares him" I said and she nodded. She then got up and grabbed my hand, then we were teleported into a dark room. I put my hands out and tried to find my way to the door, I couldn't feel Dylan anymore.

"Where are you?" I screamed out but then the lights were turned on, Dylan was standing next to the light switch.

"Don't have to yell, we are in my prank room, so be careful" she said as I finally looked around, there was so much pranks around me. I then watched as she grabbed a bunch of stuff and then she chanted a few words, all of a sudden I couldn't see anymore.

"WHAT HAPPENED, I CAN'T SEE ANYMORE?!?!!?????" I yelled out but she put her hand over my mouth.

"Relax, all I did was put a spell on you. I'm changing into different clothing, don't want you to see me naked now. At least not yet" she said but then I took a double take at what she said.

"Yet... what do you mean by that!?!" I said a bit too loud, but she just giggled.

"Please I know I'm your mate" she said and then my sight was back. Dylan was wearing a cross tank, distressed black denim shorts, she also had a red and blue flannel hanging off her shoulders, and black combat boots.

"You knew.. But how?!" she just gave me a kiss on the cheek and pulled me a long out the door.

"Um.. when you were talking to what I believe was your inner wolf, you spoke out loud" she said, and I felt like I could just melt and die right there.

"Oh, well are you okay with you being my mate?" I said as she made a shush signal with her finger next to her mouth.

"Of course I'm fine with it, you're the coolest guy here" she whispered as she gave me a big kiss on the lips, her lips were so soft. I grabbed her hand and pulled her closer to me, she moaned in between the kiss. We broke apart when we both needed air, and she just blushed at me as I did too.

"Okay well let's have some fun" she said as she pointed to Tao who was sitting in the living room on his phone. I was a bit confused since Tao is only afraid of bugs, but she teleports herself away. I then see her behind the couch that Tao was sitting on, she then transforms herself into a giant spider. It was a black widow and she used one of her legs to tap Tao on the shoulder. He turned around and once he did he screamed so loud that I had to cover my ears.

"MAXIEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" He cried out as he tried to run away but Dylan had pinned his legs to the floor with her spider... butt... white stuff?? Anyways she then walked in front of him and was about to bite his head off, Tao was crying at this point.

"OMG I can't anymore, he looks like he is about to pee his pants" she says as she transforms back to her usual self, Tao's face is dumbfounded seeing the spider transform back to Dylan.

"WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON, WHY THE FUCK WOULD YOU DO THAT TO ME!!!!!!!" Tao yelled as he shifted into his wolf and was able to get the cobwebs off his legs.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" He yelled out, but I was too busy laughing my butt off. I jumped down from the stairs and Dylan walked over to my side.

"You definitely are my mate, you got my humor" I said as I gave her a quick peck on the lips, and she instantly blushed.

"Wait, you found your mate, congrats man" Tao said as he transformed back into his regular self, I threw him a pair of shorts and he put them on.

"Why a black widow of all spiders???" he whined out as Dylan pat his head.

"The question is more like, why not" she giggled, but then she stopped when we all heard a noise coming from the back. We were then teleported back to her prank room, Tao and I freaked out since the lights were out.

"Okay so I think Lay is downstairs, I think I have the best prank idea ever. Who's in?" She said with excitement in her eyes. I shrugged and raised my hand, and Tao did the same.

"What do we have to do?" Tao asked and she whispered to us.
