Chapter 27: Dear Sister

Demi's POV:

I would be lying if I said I wasn't nervous to go to the Pembroke as that is where my family is living. I haven't always been hated by my family, it was only since I found out I had magic witch capabilities. Father saw me as an abomination, my mother was happy for me as I got the witch gene from her, and Veronica... she was upset that she did not possess the gene as well. When we were little I would be able to play with my stuffed animals with my telekinesis, and Veronica would storm in and push me. Bully me making me think I was the devil's child and always was Daddy's favorite. However never was truly loved by her own mother.

"Demi, are you gonna be okay with this?... You can always go and help Sweet Pea and Fangs with the balloons" Isabelle said to me as we arrived in front of the hotel.

"No I'll be okay, I have my family with me" I said as I linked my arms with her. She smiled and we walked into the hotel.

"Hello my name is Andre, what can I help you lad- Miss Lodge!? Does your father know you are here?" Andre says as he recognizes me. I shook my head and smile at him.

"No father does not know I am here and not everything is about him. I would like to rent one of the hotel rooms for a party I am hosting" he nodded and told us he will be a moment. He left behind a door and the front door opened as I heard a familiar voice.

"Ugh who let in the trash, you're not welcomed back you know!" I looked to see my older sister, Veronica with Betty and Kevin beside her.

"Hello dear sister, sorry but I am not here for you. Also Betty, Kevin these are for you" I handed them the twin's invitation to their birthday party.

"What is this?" Kevin asked as he opened the card, suddenly confetti burst open. Inside was written the address of where the party will be.

"Please join us as we celebrate Dylan and Lilith Jones' Sweet Sixteen Birthday Party at 7pm in the Pembroke Hotel" Betty read outloud. Veronica was upset and it was obvious she was mad as her friends were invited and she was left out.

"Sounds amazing, I will be attending" Betty said as she smiled towards us.

"Count me in as well" Kevin said who started to tap vigorously on his phone.

"Ahem, where is my invitation?" My older sister finally said.

"Oh you didn't get one? Oh it might just be late in the mail." Izzy said as she walked and played with the knick knacks on the office desk.

"You just handed them in front of me" V yelled at Izzy.

"Oh well, anyways we can't wait for tomorrow, please dress nicely and we will see you there" Isabelle said as she took the papers from Andre and we walked out the door to our car.

"That went well, better than I thought it would have gone" Isabelle said as we were almost in the car. I nodded with a big smile on my face.

Isabelle's POV:

After dropping off Demi at the house I went to the store to go and buy the ingredients for the dinner I was to make for the twin's party. I was in the aisle when I heard a loud yelp, I ran to the next aisle and saw Sasha on the ground holding her cheek and Chuck standing over her.

"What the hell is going on here?!!!?" I yelled making the two whip their heads to me. Chuck just chuckled a bit and picked Sasha by the arm.

"We were just getting some food, when Sasha here thought she could grab the box on the top shelf. Silly her but the box came and hit her on the face" he said as I looked around but no box was on the ground and Sasha wasn't looking me in the eye.

"Sash, is this true?" She looked back at Chuck who whispered something into her ear, but I wasn't able to hear it.

"Yes, I'm such a goofball. Sorry" she said as she walked past me and as Chuck was walking past me I grabbed his arm.

"I know what your game is and if you don't stop it now. I will make you beg for mercy" I threatened him, but he only removed my hand from his arm.

"I have noooo... idea what you are talking about" he said as he smirked and walked away. That little git, I swear if it wasn't for Sasha I would kill the damn bastard. Sadly that would be for another day I need to get these ingredients for tomorrow's dinner.
