Real Feelings

NA JAEMIN P. O. V.

He was moving closer and closer and he didn't seem to stop until our lips would have touched again... but he just stopped not even a inch away.

I gulped, my eyes were already closed tightly.

I slowly opened them as soon as I noticed that.

I slightly looked up at him.

His eyes were still looking straight into my soul but his face had softened.

I could feel his warm breath on my face.

Suddenly Jeno moved away a bit and his head dropped down.

I heard his deep and long sigh before he looked up without lifting his head.

"No matter how much I try... I can't do it..." he mumbled.

"You... you can't do what?" I asked curious looking straight into his eyes.

Jeno now lifted his head and stood straight in front of me.

"Just... forget it, ok?" he said coldly as he turned around to go.

But I grabbed onto the sleeve of his sweater.

I didn't pull him, I just took a small piece of the soft fabric in between my thumb and index finger and hoped he'd stop.

And he really did.

Jeno didn't turn around so I just spoke to him.

"Jeno-ssi.... why... why are you being so cold towards me lately? Did I offend you in any way or something?" I asked, trying my best not to stutter again.

He sighed again.

"It's not that you offended me. No."

"Then why? Why do you keep on being so mean to me? Don't you see..." at this point I thought if I should tell him about my feelings.

But the more I thought the less I wanted to tell him so I just didn't hesitate a second longer and poured out all my feelings for him.

"Don't you see how much I love you?! Don't you see how much I try to be close to you? I've feelings for you Lee Jeno, and those are damn strong and so damn real, god damn it! Why don't you fucking see it?!"

After that it was silent. I only could hear how Jeno breathed.

And then I realized how fucked I was.

I realized my big ass mistake.
