epilogue

10 YEARS LATER

Jaemin was sitting on the medium large bed, it's bedsheets creased and mussy.

Jaemin's silhouette seemed tiny and feeble in the dark room. His back was leaning against the wall and he was pulling his knees to his chest, hugging them tightly and burying his face in the small gap between them.

It was so long since Jaemin last saw Jeno. It felt like for ever.

He knew that he wouldn't come back and a tear rolled down slowly the soft skin on his tautly-looking cheeks.

A quiet and brief sob escaped his slightly parted lips.

Because of him sobbing and covering his face between his knees, he didn't saw nor hear how the  door to the bedroom was being opened slowly, revealing a tall and wide silhouette.

"Nana?" a familiar soft and deep voice said inquiringly as the man stepped inside the room.

Jaemin's head shot immediately up as soon as he heard the man, a few strands of his black hair sticking onto his forehead and temples, his tears showing visibly.

"Nana..." the man said now with confusion in his soothing voice.

Jaemin leaped up with lightspeed and sprinted towards the silhouette.

He made a small jump and clinched his arms around the man's neck.

"I missed you so much, Jeno! Please don't ever leave me! I swear I won't call you Nojam anymore!" Jaemin said crying, holding onto Jeno even tighter.

Jeno laughed, his shoulders swinging up and down with Jaemin on them.

"Nana... I was just on a business trip for two days." Jeno said as he put his arms around Jaemin's waist to hug him softly.

"B-B-But... I felt so lonely..." Jaemin said and pouted. "I just can't without you, Nojam."

Jeno sighed annoyed yet amused. I thought he'd stop calling me that name?

Jaemin was and will always be just a baby.

"And also I-" Jeamin wanted to continue whining but Jeno cut him off by bowing down his neck slightly to kiss Jeamin's soft pink lips.

"How about you continue your whining in bed just that you groan my name and not complain about stuff?" Jeno said with a playful smirk.

Jeamin was surprised by Jeno's sudden words and the playful grin on his thin lips, so he just shut his mouth and nodded, red and bright blush on his ears and cheeks.

And with that Jeno lift up Jeamin and went inside the bedroom, kicking the door behind him.
