----------"Can we please take a break? I've finished five papers already." The two of us sat on my bed, pillows, books, and papers spread out everywhere with Grayson's laptop open.
The bright lights in my room, giving us better light to do homework, is shining above our heads
"Only because I'm hungry. Want me to order a pizza? My parents won't be home until late tonight." I pushed Grayson's work away from me and relaxed in my bed, Grayson doing the same.
"No, I'll order... sushi. I haven't had it for a while." He gave me a big fake smile and pulled out his phone and laying his head on my lap.
I also pulled out my phone and started getting caught up on David's vlog; I've missed like 7 videos.
"What kind of sushi do you like?" His head turned on my lap to look at me, his big hazel eyes sparkling in the light.
"I'll eat whatever." Grayson turned his head back to his phone and I turned back to my paused video, soon pressing play.
"Let's go down stairs so we can hear them knock on the door." I said after finishing the four minute video.
Grayson grunted as he sat up from my lap then stood up off of my bed and walking to the other side where I was. "C'mon slow poke." Grayson grabbed onto the wrist that wasn't in a thick plaster cast and pulled me out of bed then downstairs to the living room.
"So this weekend my parents and I are going to our cabin in New York and you should come with." I sat on the end of the couch and Grayson laid down on it, putting his head back on my lap.
"How about... no." I gave Grayson a fake smile then grabbed the remote from the arm on the couch and turned on the tv, immediately going to friends; my favorite tv show.
"You have to come I already told my parents you were." I looked down at the hopeful guy on my lap, his shiny hazel eyes staring up at me.
"Grayson. Stop making promises for me that I don't know anything about." I gently ran my fingers through his long and floppy hair causing his eyes to slowly close.
"Please? It'll be so boring if you don't come. They make me go every year during Christmas and I have never been able to bring a girl." His voice was soft with a slight whine in it.
"Oh so I'm just a girl to you?" I teased, a smile showing on my face as he rolled his eyes.
"I've never brought a girl in general, let alone one I like." I started smiling even bigger but then covered my mouth.
"Shut up Grayson." I shook my head a little but still smiled and looked away from him.
"Nope." He sat up and then stood up and pulled me out of my seat. "I'll talk as much as I want." Our faces were inches apart, my heart suddenly beating fast, but no words were able to form.
Kiss him! Geez sis you act like it's that hard! Just lean in and kiss the guy!
He smirked and pulled me into the kitchen, the feeling of him being that close to me still lingering. "Want a water?" I asked as I opened the fridge and grabbed a water for myself.
