Our Broken Hearts [Zack x reader]

~Chapter 2~

The teacher pointed to [Y/N] and said, "That girl over there! Why don't you go first?"

Oh frick.....

"H-h-hi...... I-I-I'm [Y-[Y/N]..." I trailed off. The class stared at me as they couldn't make out what in the world i was saying.

"What she's trying to say is "I'm [Y/N] and i like to read!"" Kate some how figured out what i was trying to say.

"Alright next!" The teacher shouted.

Time skip

The boring - yet embarrassing- class was over.

"[Y/N]!! Come have lunch with me!" Kate shouted from the end of the corridor.

"Coming," [Y/N] replied. As we walked down to the school canteen,    [Y/N] noticed everyone had already made a large groups of friends, then immediately looked at herself and thought, "guess I'm the loner of this school."

At the canteen

"Sooo.... me and Kate are the only ones here.." [Y/N] thought as she scanned the area. "Oh wait... there's Zack..."

Zack looked up and noticed [Y/N], and only [Y/N].

"Hey! [N/N] over here!" Zack shouted with his mouth stuffed with food. The twins walked over to him and took a seat across Zack.

"Oh yeah, there's your twin, Kate," Zack said completely forgetting [Y/N] wasn't an only child. "Why are you spending recess with her?"

"She's my only friend" [Y/N] sighed.

"Heh your like me huh, only one friend," Zack said.

"And who is that friend?" [Y/N] asked.

"You, [Y/N]" he replied.

"I thought you didn't think of me as a friend" [Y/N] said.

"I've changed my mind." He replied.

"Hey [Y/N] let's go get some food, shall we?" Kate asked trying to break her awkward silence.

"You read my mind, Kate," [Y/N] replied while getting of the chair and heading to a food stall. Kate followed shortly after. "What are you gonna get? Im getting steak."

"I'll have the same," Kate replied.

After school

"Hey [N/N], Kate, wanna go to the newly opened café? My treat," Zack asked  but he only wished to go with      [Y/N].

[A/n: ship ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)]

"Sorry, my chemistry teacher gave me a whole stack of homework to do, I won't be able to make it," Kate said denying his question.

[A/N: what a prick of a teacher. JK XD.
Kate is lying cuz she wants the two to have some sort of alone time together]

"I don't have any homework today, I can head there straight away," [Y/N] said agreeing with Zack. "Why don't we go now?" [Y/N] suggested.

"Ok," Zack agreed.

At the café

"What do you wanna eat, [Y/N]?" Zack asked like a gentleman.

"Umm i really don't know," [Y/N] stated.

"Well then one slice of [Y/F/F] cake please," Zack asked the cashier holding up his wallet and giving them 2-dollars. A while later, their cake arrived. Zack found a two-seater table and [Y/N] took two forks to eat the cake.

[A/n: [Y/F/F] = your favourite flavour]

"Hey, how did you know [Y/F/F] was my favourite?" [Y/N] asked with a surprised look on her face.

"Well i thought since you were different from the other girls, I chose the least popular flavour," Zack replied to [Y/N]. "How was your day?"

"Better because I'm with you..."[Y/N] mentally replied

"Fine," [Y/N] physically replied. "How was yours?"

"Eh, better than usual," he replied with an innocent smile. [Y/N] smiled back in return.

As they were finishing their cake, their faces began to come closer to each others face. Soon, Zack noticed people were looking them and whispering, " Are they a couple??"

To satisfy the strangers, Zack some how built up the courage to kiss [Y/N].

[A/N: one of the strangers was Kate ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)]

"Omg, omg omg..... MAHH SHHIIIPPP!!!" Kate shouted loud enough for the whole neighbourhood to hear. Once Zack released his lips from [Y/N]'s, he noticed [Y/N] was blushing a cherry pink. He was too but he was thankful his bandages covered his cherry pink face.
