Angel Snatcher

Part 13

Janes POV

After dinner Maura and I went and got ready for bed. Maura came over and put her arms around me. She rested her head on my chest and sighed. I smiled and put my arms around her. We stayed like that for a few minuets. When we pulled away Maura smiled at me. "Jane, why do you let me hug you?"

"...I don't want to tell you. It's embarrassing."

"Oh come on Janie, tell me."

"No..." I sat on the bed and Maura sat next to me. "Janie...your going to have to tell me."

"No...its embarrassing..." I whined flopping back on the bed. Maura smiled at me. I looked at her. "Ugh...why do you have to be like that?" Maura snickered at me. She laid down next to me and looked at me with her hazel eyes. "I'm waiting." she said. "Ugh ok...the only reason I let you hug me is because I feel safe when you hug me. And your...so warm and cuddly." Maura giggled. "Your laughing. Why are you laughing at me." I whined. "It's sweet." she scooted closer and rested her head on my shoulder. "It's embarrassing."

"No it's not. I think that it is very sweet." I smiled at the blond and put my arm around her waist. "Maur...ill sleep in the guest room."

"Ok...that is more appropriate since all of this happened" I got up and kissed Maura softly on the lips then went to the guest room. I laid in the bed and drifted to sleep. At 12 o'clock I woke up. Then I heard a little knock on the door and it opened. Maura came in wearing my Red Soxs jersey and some black spandex shorts. "Jane...can I come sleep in here."

"Of course Maur." I scooted over and patted the space next to me. "What's wrong?" I asked as she crawled under the covers. "I can't sleep." Maura wrapped her arms around my waist and rested her head on the pillow. I looked at her and kissed her. "Well I'll sleep perfect now." I said smiling. "So will I." I wrapped my arms around her and kissed the top of her head. "Good night Maura."

"Night Janie." We fell asleep and that was probably the best sleep I've had in a while. I woke up and Maura was still asleep. I smiled at her. She's so beautiful, especially when she sleeps. Her eyes fluttered open and she smiled at me. "Morning." she giggled. "Morning, did you sleep good?"

"I slept perfectly." she mumbled, nuzzling her nose into my neck. "Good." We got up and went to the kitchen to make breakfast. We finished breakfast then Jane got ready for work. "Jane I really want to go back to work."

"Maura you need to rest."

"I'm tired of resting. Can I please go back to work...pretty please." I pleaded. "Ugh ok..." I ran to my room and started to get ready.

This part is kinda boring but the next chapter will be more interesting.
